These are images of fully grown large plants in the height of summer. Repot your plant in ericacious ( acidic) potting compost and it’ll grow on. Eventually you’ll get an abundance of leaves and flowers. Once it’s a couple of years old, you can plant it in the earth into the garden once it’s established.

I haven't much space in my very small garden would they be ok in a big pot on patio?

I bought one earlier this year to grow in a pot on my patio, up to now it is flourishing and full of bud, I can’t see a problem with growing it in a pot, I have other hydrangeas that I have grown in pots for years and they do ok.

When is the best time to plant it outdoors?

Hi when mine arrived it was just a little twig that was in January /February . I planted it in pot and put it outside in a sheltered position in the march . Lovely plant ,even bloomed ,just a couple of flowers in the first year . The flowers really are white and turn pink as they mature . Greatly admired C!!

Expect these shrubs to arrive dormant and small, approximately 7 inches tall. Strong sturdy shrubs, very well packaged. I intend to transplant into larger pots to grow on for a couple of years, before transferring in the desired location in the garden.

a good quality plant

despite the fact that it arrived on the 14th of June instead of the 12th of June the plant was in good condition. The carrier was to blame as it was despatched on time..
