Zune II 80G Crystal Case, Clear

This case is exactly what I had hoped for. It is stylish, it adds to the natural style of my ZUNE 120 Red, It protects my ZUNE completely, I was able to clean to a nice shine and place it into this case, so I can handle the ZUNE without putting a bunch of finger prints all over it, also it keeps the screen clean, I cleaned the screen, put it in the case, and no prints, the case actually seems to be print retardant. The quality of the case in highly dependable, I can feel the protection of this case while holding it in my hand. The pieces fit together perfectly and snug, and is a perfect fit for my ZUNE, might actually be a little difficult to remove the ZUNE, but I find that to be a plus, just in case I drop it, I know it won't just fly out of the case. Bought 2 of these one for my wife's ZUNE and one for mine. We Love them.

cheap and functional.it'll protect your zune from scratches, but the case itself gets scratched up pretty easy. it also seems to trap dust and dirt between the zune and the case, and i'm worried that if it builds up it might actually end up scratching the zune.the zune charge cable fits perfectly with the case on, but it's a little difficult to get to the lock switch (you have to wedge your finger in there to get at it) i rarely ever use the switch anyways, so it's not a big deal for me.i gave it 4 stars because it's not perfect. but i can't bring myself to rate it any lower than 4 stars because of its low price

For the price, this case is great.I previously had a very similar Microsoft brand case that I bought at Target (that is no longer stocked). It did it's job, and protected my Zune for the two years. When the scratches get annoying, the concept of these type of cases is to just toss and replace. Better for the scratches to be on the case then on the actual Zune. Well, it was time to replace mine and when I saw this very comparable replacement for a whole 8 CENTS on Amazon, I jumped at the deal. It even included a lanyard and a clip. (thou, those bonuses aren't of the greatest quality). The case itself is great. And for the price is is a steal considering the original one I had cost me $20.But there is one flaw... if you use a MONSTER FM TRANSMITTOR on a regular basis, this case will annoy you. This particular version of the clear plastic case, does not have a hole quite wide enough for the connection from the transmittor to be flush with the Zune. This results in a scratchy-at-best transmission into your car radio. I guess the covering on the transmittor wire is wider then the hole provided on the top of this case. At first site, it seemed it would be fine, since the case hole was very wide from top to bottom..... but from side to side it was narrower then the other direction. That is what causes the problem. I also verified this by taking off the case and reattaching the transmittor..... it worked perfectly. So the problem is the case. It gets in the way of the connector being flush with the Zune.Other then that, this case is great for a PERMANENT case. I've seen other reviews about 'not being able to take it off easily'. This case isn't meant to be taken on and off. It is meant to go on the Zune and stay there. Period. However, when you do want to take it off, using a coin to pry the front and back apart via a slot on the bottom will do the trick perfectly.The bottom line is, if you are NUTS about getting scratches on your Zune....or even getting it dirty... the full clear hard pastic cases (like this one) are the way to go. Snap it on and leave it there. It will do it's job..... and it won't get in the way of anything. (Well, except for the transmittor with this particular case version). You won't even realize it is there after awhile. It doesn't distort the screen at all. And you certainly don't have to worry about those MORONIC sticker type screen protectors that love getting air bubbles in them if there is even a molecule of dust in the room you are in when you are applying them (seriously.... I've tried!).I highly suggest these types of cases.... just not this particular one if you use the MONSTER brand FM TRANSMITTOR. Other clear case varities do NOT have this problem.I have not had any problems with attaching other various accessories to the Zune while using this case.

Bought this case because it was so cheap. Although, it is different from the one in the picture and it's actually better looking. I'm not sure if they made a mistake in sending me the wrong one, but I like it. It doesn't have the button covers like in the picture and it looks more protective.The only problem is taking it off after you snap it together. I suppose this could be looked at in a good way because it won't fall off on you, but it might be too hard to remove. I used small pliers and used it in reverse to stretch the case open. This made it much easier to take off. I don't know if I could remove them without pliers though.One other small detail was two dots which seem to be in the case in the screen area (just a tiny error I assume). I tried wiping them off, but they want to stay. It's tolerable and I just wish they weren't there where the videos are.

Pros :1. Decent cover for the zune.2. Belt clip does look flimsy but actually it's been designed well and it works. The best part, its removable so I plan to use it elsewhere once I am done with the case.Cons :1. The plastic scratches very easily. Within a week mine was showing a lot of scratches...all I did was put the zune in the same pocket as my car keys while walking.2. The Headphone/Earphone hole doesn't accomodate AUX cables from Belkin. I had to file it to make it bigger. It can fit only the small earphones plug and nothing bigger.3. The plastic case doesn't have a clip to securely close it. If the case becomes loose, there's a chance that zune might fall out actually. 80G is a little bit on the heavy size compared to flash ones.I have ordered a Silicon skin. Let me see how that fares.

I bought this clear case and while it fits my Zune 120 and looks okay, it's really really difficult to remove. I have broken four fingernails and still cannot get this POS off my Zune so I can charge it on my dock. I only use the case at work while the player is in my pocket to protect my player from things I work with that could ruin it. Around the house I don't need the case. I also didn't pay for a charging dock only to have to use a beat up USB cable to charge my player because some cheap chunk of plastic won't unsnap so the dock will fit. Seriously?HOW DO YOU REMOVE THIS BUGGER? It's ridiculous. The cover in the photo is different from what I received, too. Not cool.PS the "belt clip" is useless. It came out of the package broken.
