Okay, I have degenerative disk disease, and cervical radiculopathy and this egg grate let's me sleep 10 hours with no pain. I worked very hard to afford a good mattress, and I got an exceptional pillow top mattress. Exceptional for those not suffering from back and neck pain. Well I flipped my mattress to the firm side. After a couple months I feel pain and discomfort. I bought this convoluted egg shell and oh my I feel no pain now. Praise the Lord! It's ❗. I'm young too. To have this kind of neuropathic, degenerative disk, and arthritic pain. But this is a winner, well worth double the asking price too, I think.Grace Murray

Love the comfort of this on my twin spare mattress. It makes a firm mattress much more comfortable! No one paid me to say this. I didn’t want the memory foam toppers, and this is NOT memory foam. I’m very happy with this purchase!

Bought this for our bed and it is amazing comfortable. My only problem with it, was I had to eventually cut it to fit the bed so it would stop pulling the sheet off the bed. Not sure why it is soooo long.

This is a regular no frills, no dyes, no gels, no fumes, no scents eggcrate -- it is super compressed when it arrives but roll it out, let it be and it fluffs right up! They changed packaging recently but the pad still fluffs up to the regular size. These can be cut and fashioned into custom pads for various needs - and that's a great thing when caring for various people. i have made so many types of pads and pillows and ordering more - I always have one for backup because it's hard to find the bare bones item like this.

Awesome quality product and much needed! Ignore the bad reviews because the rest of their puzzle was probably not addressed. After lots of research here is what I found out. The topper layers on your mattress or inside the top of your mattress fail long before your inner springs etc. (Memory Foam is my body's enemy) (Also my main mattress under the toppers is latex) You are supposed to replace your failed topper with a new 2" or 3" latex one every 2-3 years. With my bad back and nerves I ended up needing a firm latex topper (the med. firm gave way on me too much and was not supportive enough). Although it was firm enough for my back's needs, it was too firm for the rest of me, so I ordered this high quality egg crate 3" topper and BINGO - it was perfect!! And because it was affordable I ordered two more, one for my husbands side of the bed (2 of these side by side equals a king) and one to take on trips. It feels so good and no more numbness in my finger tips due to compression on my shoulders. And I have not had anymore back spasms because it is firm and no indentions - it's flat now. Make sure you put this egg crate topper directly under your sheet without a pad in between. Feels so good. I can tell it is a much higher quality than the one from walmart that I got long ago. I can see how this topper is a must for elderly or bed ridden people. Remember those indentions in your mattress contribute to back problems. Hope this helps you, as it took me a month of trial and error to figure out the puzzle for me.

Smaller than anticipated but added comfort to an older mattress

We needed a new egg crate foam mattress topper to replace the one inside our Cal King Sleep Number Bed. Sleep Number no longer sells a one piece replacement and the two pieces would cost $535.00 so we decided to see what other options we had.We quickly discovered that we could buy two Twin XL mattress toppers, but were very concerned about the foam smelling and needing to outgas. I am highly allergic to scents/smells, including chemical-type smells, which is typical of foam items. Plus our house is small so we don't really have anywhere to outgas anything without making me ill.We searched more and found this Vaughn Medical one and we were excited that it might actually come not smelling. However, based on past history with foam items and how ridiculously sensitive my nose is, we were apprehensive.We called the seller, Beyond Med Shop, and left a message asking about any smells. We quickly got a return call from a very nice, helpful woman named, Jasmine, who answered our questions and alleviated our concerns about smells. Excellent customer service!We ordered two of the Twin XL's and received them quickly. We are very happy that they did not smell! And they fit inside our Sleep Number bed perfectly. We did leave them out in the living room for a couple days just to let them expand (from being rolled tightly for shipping).If you are looking for a good, comfortable egg crate mattress topper THAT DOES NOT SMELL or need to outgas, this is it! Highly recommend!
