Childproof = Child Safety
Childproof = child safety.Very durable, in fact my spouse has difficulty getting it off. Easy to install, just unscrew the center screw of your outlet plugs and swap with this. Screws back on seamlessly.I don’t like the thickness of it, but it’s functional. You can get your plugs of multiple sizes in as well as wrap some cord around it to fine adjust the length of your plug. Be aware of the cords you intend to plug in as you can see in my second photo.Great product for peace of mind as your child explores the world more.

Great for baby proofing
Used this to keep our toddler from unplugging his floor fan during the summer. It has worked great. It was easy to install in his room and fit perfectly over the plug. It’s very durable and stands up to him messing with it. He is now unable to get to the wall outlet and the fan stays safely plugged in.

Does what it says it does.
Does what it says it does. Works for child safety, installs fairly easily (be mindful of the wires, and turn off the breaker if you aren't comfortable taking off the base plate without doing so. Better safe than sorry.)And you can wrap a cord around the given plate. Actually works fairly well.

Great solution for a toddler room
Easy to install. Pretty solid. Does as intended.They definetly stick out from the wall but I dont have to worry about my toddler getting in. Sometimes it is not easy to open.Only Con I truly have is that cord storage is small.

Awesome for dog safety
We don’t have a kid, but we use these to cover the outlets near where our dog lays down so that there isn’t any way she could cause herself harm or want to chew on something. For the price, these are awesome. Just take the old outlet cover off and screw in with the same screw from the old one. Super easy, under 2 minute installation. Great protection! We are super happy with this. We actually ordered one and installed and I was so happy with it, I ordered another one for a different room. Renter friendly, easy install!

Doesn’t fit over any useful plugs
This cover is of perfectly good quality and was very easy to install, but none of the plugs that I need to wrap up fit in this. I bought this to reduce strangulation hazards for things that I wanted to leave plugged in all the time that couldn’t be on the counter or the tv stand, such as our infant swing or electric bassinet. I was worried about my toddler strangling himself with one of those cords. However, the part that plugs into the wall is too big to fit into this. There have been other items I’ve wanted to plug in that don’t fit. I think that most items that would need to be plugged in near the floor, rather than being placed out of reach on a counter (like a phone charging) are higher powered items that have bulkier plug ins, and won’t fit. I haven’t found this useful at all, unfortunately.

Enough space for wider/longer plugs - like for a vTech baby monitor.
Toddler kept reaching through the crib to pull the camera plug out of the wall. We tried moving the crib, taping the cord to the wall, etc. but she could not be stopped. Until we found this! Works perfectly and accommodates the bigger plug our vTech camera needs. We did install it upside down so that the cord runs out of the top and haven't had a problem since this was installed.

Made my life much easier.
Living with a toddler isn't easy. If you don't know that yet you will soon. A toddler is like a scientist with no fear and a similar--but different language.The difference being: when you say "no" that means "do exactly what you're about to do, with a smile."That's what I'm dealing with. So many timeouts and explanations and bribes (yes bribes) seem to be fruitless so far. Our 2 year old son is fascinated with outlets and fans. If a fan is off, he wants it on. If it's on, he wants it off. It never ends. He unplugs the fan and plugs it back in when he gets even a second of a chance. I've been persistent with keeping him away from them, and was hoping he would just forget after a day or two. This has gone on for about a month now. I don't know why he's so obsessed with fans and it's nothing else.So it got to the point I would hide the fans and not use them. I would put them up in the closet when he wasn't looking. Whenever he went into a room he would just say fan over and over. The problem is were on the second floor apartment and it's been hot without air conditioning. So we really need the fans right now.So if he doesn't listen and doesn't forget, and I can't remove the problem... I have to make it impossible for him to unplug them. Regular outlet covers work great for outlets that aren't being used. I had no idea they had covers that work outlets being used! I'm so happy I found this!!!!I am so so so so so happy I found this!!!!I installed them today and they are a breeze to install. Our son can't get into it and he can't pull out the cord. The cover is simple enough to remove for adults without being annoying. That's huge for me.because we tend to move stuff around a lot.This outlet cover will not work with every outlet and every plug in you have. There's limited amount of space on the inside. And as I've shown in the photos, the cord needs to be thin enough to pin in the two slots provided. This won't work for any of the power strips I own. Which isn't a bad thing because it kinda defeats the purpose.I just can't say how much this has improved my life. It's a major deterrent. I watched him approach it the first time and after two good pulls he gave up. He hasn't been back since.Not to say he still doesn't mess with the fans. He knows how to use the on/off switch. But this is much less frustrating because I'm not worried about him hurting himself anymore.After seeing how well they are doing today, I just now bought a bunch more to be used with all the outlets we frequently use. There were other outlet covers that were higher quality, but the price was rediculous. Over 10$ for just one. I'll stick with these.
