I was looking for a small, lightweight, and portable speaker with good sound to use in my vehicle. Finally, I chose to buy this Sony SRS-BTV5 Bluetooth Wireless Speaker. The target market of this product is someone who wants a low price and high quality in their wireless speakers. If you have a small budget and want to buy a good quality speaker for listening to music indoors and outdoors, this product will be a good choice for you.While the size, weight, and price are the most important reasons I purchased this speaker, now, after one month of use, I can evaluate the Sony SRS-BTV5 for the qualities of 1-click Bluetooth, design, sound, and battery.• 1-Click Bluetooth:I wanted easy, wireless technology to pair the phone and speaker. I love the new Bluetooth technology for Sony SRS-BTV5 that uses an NFC (Near Field Communications) system. It took me just a few seconds to connect my iPhone and this speaker without reading the instructions. After the initial pairing, the only thing you need do is turn on the Bluetooth and this speaker.• Design：I wanted something small and convenient. At first, when I got this product, I was surprised by how small and lightweight it was. I can carry this speaker in the pocket of my jeans, which means I can use it anywhere. In addition, it has more color options than other types of Sony speakers. There were three colors for me to choose from, black, pink, and white. I chose white, which I love best.• Sound：I wanted something good for listening to pop and classical music. As a very small size speaker, it did not have a terrible sound and little voice like other similar products. I think the 360-degreee circle sound technology helps a lot to improve the speaker quality. The sound is rich and portable but if you like to listen to rock and heavy metal music, this product may not meet your requirements. In addition to the clear sound, the volume itself is good, I even can hear the voice clearly in the bathroom when I take a shower.• Battery：I wanted a long battery life for a speaker. The battery of this speaker is almost five hours. This product lasts longer than my iPhone if I continuously use them for listening to music. I also have a USB car charger in my vehicle, and I can use it to charge this speaker when it is out of power. This battery certainly meets my demands.Additionally, I can use this speaker to answer the phone with one click. It is very convenient when I am driving and need to wait for some important phone calls. This product is ideal for those who desire a small size, lightweight, high-quality speaker at a low price.

Great portable speaker especially for the decent price! The sound is amazing, I could not believe how the sound was SO GOOD with such a little speaker! The size is awesome and I can bring this speaker everywhere due to its wonderful small size, plus it comes with a cute little mesh bag to use with traveling!You charge the speakers with a USB cord that the speaker comes with, and you can listen to music via bluetooth or an audio stereo cable (which I use since I use an old iPod that has all my music rather than my iPhone that has the bluetooth but not all my music )-: so it is really nice that the speaker has an audio stereo cable port/outlet).I recommend this portable speaker for its value and performance! Thank you Sony for making a wonderful product. I am buying one of these for my dad for Father's Day because it will be simple enough for him to use (he is not really a tech guy) and he will be able to use it at work due to its great size!

It is a very solid speaker. It has been dropped several times and still plays perfectly. I use it in the bathroom when I shower and the moisture hasn't affected it. It gets pretty loud for it's size. I like the phone call feature, it is very convenient. For the most part I have not had complaints from those who I am speaking to but every once in a while someone will complain about the quality. My only issue is it's shape. The roundness tends to make it turn over in my bed and it is hard to secure it in a vehicle.

I own two of these and they are surprisingly good. I bought the first one because I was looking for an all purpose small footprint speaker to hook to my PC setup for casual listening when I'm watching the random Youtube vid etc without having to turn on my much larger sound system or let the tubes warm up on my headphone tube amp. I bought the second one later on and have it connected to my Amazon Echo Dot. I gave it a 5 star rating simply because the build quality is top notch and sound quality is very good. Now of course one does have to keep things in perspective when it comes to "sound quality" because of it's size. Having said that I am always pleasantly surprised at how clear the audio is even at high volume levels and there is a very fair amount of low end considering how small it is. All in all the audio itself is balanced, it's very clear and projects the audio (because of it's design) in a way that makes it appear as if the audio is coming from a much wider stereo setup.

The speaker has perfect for easy portability, small size but it has a bad battery as it lasts very little. Nor it is waterproof. The controls are not clear, it's easy for someone to leave the NFC on.

This Sony speaker is overall a great speaker. It has a unique shape which I really enjoy, and the NFC (Near Field Communication) Connection is very useful. However the speaker itself does not seem that loud, and it also seems the max volume can vary day to day. I would recommend this in a small area, but not for a big house. Overall odds are if you have a more modern flagship phone (late 2014 to now) your speakers might be more powerful.
