An excellent gift, even a from me to me. There is a large variety of these wooden 3D models available, from rather simple and straight forward to complicated and difficult. However, regardless as to where in the simple to complicated scale one starts, the model is always intriguing, accurate and very well engineered. The final product is not of stainless steel and toddler proof, but then again, this is not that type of "model' or "toy", but it is a brilliant finish with loads of detail. In summary, young or old, if your into model building, you will enjoy this.

This is a terrific 3D Puzzle. This product arrived very promptly and in perfect condition. The puzzle is made with very durable wood and the quality lazer cutting does not create difficulty removing the pieces from the boards. The directions are very clear and are broken down into small steps that increase the ease of the build. Great patience, experience and skill are required for the step where the "right half" is merged with the "left half". There are many toothpicks and wooden pegs that must be aligned and properly managed in this step. The other noteworthy challenge is successfully "threading" the brake-cables up through the front sprocket and into the handlebar. This model will definitely keep you thinking and will result in a very rewarding experience.

I've put together many dozens of models, and built many projects from scratch. This kit was well designed, well marked, and made from quality parts/cuts. I'd say that the majority of this is easy for anyone with experience, with a few steps that took some very careful force. That's why I backed off the "giftable" rating.. unless you know the person has some experience and likes this kind of thing, it isn't a casual puzzle.

It’s not hard to put together other than one aspect. Toothpicks mostly come in non linear sizes so most of the toothpicks don’t fit the holes. This resulted in me having to shave literally almost every toothpick with was tedious and annoying. I ultimately go so frustrated with having to shave the toothpicks so I gave up after 5 hours and finished the following day. It shouldn’t take this long for a puzzle like this but I spent literal hours having to shave the toothpicks. To the manufacturer, pick a different, more linear option for connectors. Toothpicks is a bad choice.

This is a good item for an adult or older person. It looks really cool when put together and really works too.

QUE BUEN REGALO, FACIL DE ARMAR

Got this for a friend and he loved it. He sent me pictures and texts throughout the entire build saying how much he loved building it. He did break a few pieces and didn't realize until too late that there were extra pieces. I suggest you find the extra pieces on the boards before you start so you know which pieces you have duplicates of.

I've assembled wooden mechanical models from several different manufacturers and have found this one to best the best overall. Illustrated instructions are detailed and visually easy to understand, the wood used is a bit thicker so parts don't tend to break easily and are easier to remove from the parts sheets. Like most of these wooden puzzles, toothpicks are used extensively for assembly. I found that boring the assembly holes with a 5/64ths drill made the toothpicks easier to insert and I also found that sanding the edges of tabs slightly and sometimes waxing them, also made their assembly easier. The kits aren't too expensive and a great value. Very happy with my purchase.

In 8 Stunden Bauzeit erledigt, aber nur deshalb, weil einer von uns beiden die benötigten Teile gesucht und geschliffen/gewachst hat. Die Herausforderung besteht darin, die Teile richtig ausgerichtet einzusetzen, ansonsten droht der Mülleimer. Und bitte keine Eile! Also, den Plan besser 3mal als 2mal genau ansehen! Der Plan ist übrigens ausgezeichnet. Ich persönlich finde das Modell wunderschön, und die Arbeit hat sich absolut gelohnt.

Une très belle maquette qui n'a pas était compliqué à monter, c'était pour un cadeau et mon père à adoré, il a adoré la construire !
