We have a 300 gallon Aquaponics setup (gold fish/Koi in a 300 gallon Rubbermaid stock tank, with 6 grow beds) this is the pump that runs the whole setup.It works great and IF it every dies, we will get the very same pump again.Our last pump (not the same one) died when the water froze in the grow beds and the water was all pumped out the fish tank and it burned out. (all the fish lived--except one that died a month later). Our design has a flaw, and it was totally my fault for not heating the greenhouse building we live in Vermont, USA it get really cold in the winter.This pump runs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week (non-stop) and we are very happy

I have actually used this model pump for about ten years in my free standing stock tank pond. It's runs 24/7. This is the third on in ten years. That's pretty good, in my book. Glad it is still made. So many companies change products for the sake of change and it never is a good thing.
