Effective, Convenient, Works With HP Client Security
I use this with HP Client Security on Win 10. I find it effective; though I dislike that it is not easy to confirm exactly what cryptography is used without installing their software; I avoid installing software with administrator privilege. However, even if it's RSA-1024 or 3DES/TDEA I think it's still pretty effective as a "something you have" authentication mechanism. My machine locks after a few attempts so bruteforcing that direction would be challenging, and it would not be easy to acquire the public key from my machine due to some other mechanisms. So, I feel pretty comfortable with it.

I really like this device as it makes it easy for companies/individual in a Windows Domain environment easily to use certificates generated from a Windows Certification Authority. If you do not have access to the certification server, you can use the vSec:CMS utility to load your certificates easily within Windows. The downside is on the Linux platform the device is not fully supported. You can use software such as opensc and libccid which will read the certificates off the card but there is no way to fully manage the device in Linux. You cannot use a tool such as 'pkcs11-init' to store certificsates so if you need to deploy a certificate on the device, you will need to use the vSec utility within Windows.

Amazing Service
It works great. I accidentally locked myself out by guessing my password too many times, making the key unusable. After talking to their support, the company sent me a new one. Amazing service.
