i got this for my tello drone, it connects easily and there is an increase in wifi strength. Im not skilled enough to say if it makes a huge difference, but the wifi strength does go up. For the fairly low price i just like to connect it knowing that even if the drone range is not greatly extended i surely have stonger signal for controls in normal range.

First some context: My home router was providing a 300Mbps internet throughout my house, but it had poor reach to a basement room. The signal was so bad down there a speed test showed that with all the packet loss I could achieve only 100Mbps - so I bought this device to help. The included directions were written in poor English and nearly incomprehensible, but I persevered and got it up and running. It solved the signal strength problem, all right, but would never run above 30 Mbps! I ended up just using the degraded signal from the router. Short summary: Hard to set up, doesn't work as well as advertised.

It would be nice if there were some instructions included. First of all, it does expand the FPV of my drone. Second, the instructions on the website are WRONG! The Wifi that you need to connect to is not TUOSHIxxxx....it is something like WIFI_EXT or something along those lines....I am not sure because mine is renamed my WIFI_PLUS. Once you connect to WIFI_EXTxxxxx, it will popup a page asking which WIFI signal you would like to extend and you choose. Then it creates your WIFI_plus....which you connect to. The _plus is the extender! Hope this i helpful to someonne.

one of the simplest extenders i have ever used. it was less than 1 minute to have it working. be careful though. it snaps together and almost came apart. i added a drop of super glue and its solid now. it just the way things are made these days and im a little rough on things.

I attempted to get beyond the start page, but was never able to. It seemed like every time I tried connecting, the start page would change. Sometimes the image and buttons appeared like they should, and then it would load like the attached image. Super frustrating. To top it off, the usb plug was pulled out of the plastic body and is not repairable. Would not recommend.

Well if you absolutely positively can't find another website that works plugged into a USB port and I guess you can kick yourself in the nuts over this one when it doesn't work so well, or most of the time Chinese device translated to English. There's really no options aside from joining the extended to your network or running it like a mesh access point. I only bought this because I could not find the meat home Wi-Fi extender that I have bought several of. Never seen Google keep those because I come in handy for other people and then my other have sold it to them or give it away as a gift. This device seems to the only one available or at least when I bought it and well and truly it does suck. I'd say keep moving partner find something better.

This is for my Tello Drone and not for a computer. It is hard to find a Mi Wi-Fi extender 2 so I chanced it and got this one. I had to send the 1st one back as it would not open a wifi link. This one is great. Took 1 minute of turning on the Tello, go to the Tello App and connect, go to phone wifi and find the extender, choose Tello, and then click on the telloxxxxxx-pro wifi name and I was up and running. I am not trying to reach 100 feet high and 400 feet out I just want clear pics and good non-choppy video and this does the trick. Perfect reception and the frames were not choppy at all even in 10-15 MPH gusts.

Connect well between my Sony cameras and the PlayMemories app. Help to extend the wifi range.
