Does this wooden paddle scratch a non-scratch pan?

Not sure if you mean non scratch or non stick. I purchased the paddle for use with a 16 quart enamel pot that does have to be babied somewhat and the wood paddle works great with no scratches I don't own any other Pots or Skillets with non stick coating anymore since it seem to inevitably come off no matter what overtime mostly use stainless steel pots an old Lodge iron Skillet that ive used for thirty years also a Smithy farmhouse chef skillet with some butter or cooking oil with metal spatula across the bottom without fear just dont use the spatulas sharp corners to hard or it will dig in and scratch the seasoning off but thankfully simply just use will restore it hope this answer helps some. Would this work to take a smaller sized pizza pie out of the oven or is it too curved for that?

I believe it would work but a spatula would work too. It's nice wood but I use mine for stirring my very large pot when canning sauces.

how thick is this paddle, both handle and wide end? Need sturdy for with use in heavy duty bread mixer.

I use it to make chili 6 gallons at a time and it works great.

If I remember correctly (I looked up the history when I purchased it), it is handmade in a village in a southeastern Asian country, maybe Thailand. It is not mass produced in China. I really enjoy using mine & consider it a work of art as well as a workhorse.
