Mintwood Design Tall Basket (18"x20")

This basket was such an upgrade for me. I have been obsessed with woven baskets lately and this one was the perfect size, durability and color! This Is coming from someone who mostly used cheap $10 pop up mesh hampers from target or Walmart... you know like the ones college students usually use only I’m now in my 30s and somehow never grew out of that habit. Never paid much mind to my laundry basket aesthetics til I started redoing my bedroom and wanted something way more decorative and aesthetically pleasing since I don’t have a closet to hide my laundry basket in. This thing is BIG but I love it. The one issue is that it did take a couple of days for it to take on its full form after being folded up on transit. I just did what the directions said and stuffed it with comforters and blankets and it was great after a few days. Love this thing so much. It brings me great joy and I hope it does the same for you too!

This isn’t my first cloth basket, so I know they come folded to high heaven. I stuffed it with pillows, added weights, and let it sit for a week. I removed the weights and steamed it with the pillows still stuffed inside. Turned out pretty decent; not a perfect circle but erect & serviceable and I’m happy to not have a plastic hamper. It requires a bit of elbow grease, but I’ve got nothing to complain about.

Real talk: I've had ridiculously overflowing laundry baskets for 20 years, and these are the first to actually for me. I replaced five broken, mismatched, vandalized plastic baskets with three of these calming, neutral cotton ones - and, ppl, I am completely at peace. First - they're huge. Each of these baskets holds two large capacity loads (so, I bet, three regular loads). Next, they're soft, obv., so they're easy to squish and carry (drag) - even when they're full. The handles are convenient - as in, I use them without thinking, and they don't seem like they'll tear or stretch. Finally, these baskets work well for damp towels. They don't seem to absorb moisture, and I haven't had to air them out or dry them. Best of all, though, they are clean-looking - the gross laundry looks completely inoffensive - if not cute - as it waits. I'm getting one more of these baskets to keep empty (I wish) in front of the dryer.

I do like this basket, it’s sturdy and holds a couple throw pillows and a weighed throw blanket. When I was looking around for something to store extra blankets and throws, I wanted a basket that was tall and wide for my decor, I found a ton that were really wide and shorter. This size is what I wanted! The only reason I’m giving 4 stars, is because it is still not evenly rounded. I’ve had it for over a month, maybe 2, and it still does not look like the pictures. Also, there is a smell (probably from packaging and shipping) that I noticed on my blankets after taking them out of the basket that is unappealing. Since I can’t wash it, I sprayed febreeze all over it. Other than it not returning to its natural shape and the smell, I really do like it! The size is great and the colors are natural and blend nicely. It’s a stylish way to store all my extra blankets/ pillows. I would recommend, but just know that it might not return to its natural shape.

I just love this new basket. I'm not going to be able to use it the way I have my old laundry baskets, but that can't be helped. We had to have some re-construction on our 1/2 bath/laundry room to accommodate the size of todays new washing machines. We had to move our door to make room for the larger stack. As a result, I have lost the space that I kept my laundry basket. This large round basket is perfect. It's the same width as our vanity and will fit next to it with room for the door to swing. I think it also holds more than my old basket. It also fits in and almost looks like a decorative piece.

We have used this a cover up for our plastic plant pots for our outdoor plants that come inside for the winter. The very top of our pots are wider than the pot and it was really hard to find a basket that would fit the pots. The pots don’t fit in perfectly at the top so it makes the baskets have a slouchy look but we plan to use them for blankets etc in the summer when the pots go outside and when we originally put blankets in before our plants to see what it looked like, they looked flawless. These designs are very modern and are versatile, they work in a modern , boho, farmstyle or chic decor ! Love them. If they make a wider tall size I will be the first to purchase

The shipping was an issue with amazon as they delivered it to the wrong address. Thankfully they sent me another one. This really is a wonderful basket that holds a lot. In this picture, I have all of my yoga stuff 1. Cylinder bolster 2. A yoga mat 3. 2 yoga blocks 4. 1 foam roller 5. a roller for back pain 6. 2 beach towels 7. 2 small blankets for restorative yoga 8. Super gr[ yoga towel 9. Resistance bands for legs 10. Resistance bands for pilates. 11. Eye cover and I am sure I could put more things. I followed the directions to bring the basket to shape exactly and it worked like a charm. I stuffed a queen-sized comforter and 2 large pillows and ironed it out as it stated. I can understand anyone saying it didn't take shape. It's worth it and looks very nice. Great to have all my equipment all tucked away very quickly.
