NOTE: Please understand that these bowls are a natural handmade product and will never be "perfect" That is what makes them rustic and beautiful. Rip Off - Run Away as Fast as You Can
Purchase made on 6/21/22. Seller created a UPS shipping label on 6/22/22 (so Amazon showed it as "shipped") but seller did not actually ship it until 6/27/22.The dough bowl is advertised as "deep". The product description reads, "They measure about 9-10"W x 18-19L" . The depth ranges from 4-6 inches. The sizes will vary slightly" and "Sizes vary +- 1-2 inches".The bowl I received is only 3" tall. That is half of the maximum depth range of 6". When seller was questiond, he stated the depth was not included in the description! Can't make this stuff up - it was there in black and white.As such, this bowl is anything BUT deep.Returning is not an option as purchase was made for a customers faux succulent arrangement which is due to ship in 4 days. There is no time to find a suitable replacement. Am forced to use this wimpy 3" deep bowl and offer my customer a partial or full refund.NOT HAPPY!

Beautiful, not practical
I actually wanted to use this dough bowl to make homemade tortillas as I’ve seen people do on YouTube. This bowl is not deep enough to knead as little as 2 cups. I ended up with flour all over my work surface, no matter how careful I tried to be. It’s beautiful handiwork, for sure, but not very practical - sadly.

I’m the woman that still makes biscuits and pastry like they did 100 years ago. This dough bowl is perfect. Really, I’m impressed. It has that old hand carved look with warm colors and if you are going to use it in your kitchen: the length, width and depth is perfect. Really good value for the price.If not a old hands on cook: this dough bowl would be fabulous decor with fruit in it or maybe a candle arrangement. Your gonna love this!!
