It’s a nail cutter. But it just feels so much better from a fit and finish aspect compared to drug store nail clippers. Obviously these are meant to be portable, so they are definitely small, but not too small to handle comfortably. The cutting edge is sharp and gives a satisfying cut. The cutting edge is on the smaller side though, smaller than I’m accustomed to compared to drug store small clippers. The cutting edge almost feels like these are meant for children, but had no problem cutting my adult male nails. Definitely would say it’s too small for toe nails, but honestly who would be cutting their toe nails other than at their residence. It has a keyring hole to allow for keychain carry, but because it may be keychain carried and bumping into keys, i wish it included some sort of sheath to protect the cutting edges. For now I’m using a trimmed down heat shrink. Not the prettiest but does the job to protect the cutting edge. I also wish they integrated a file texture to one side of the flat surfaces, but i guess if you’re looking at this you probably also carry a SAK which usually has a small file. But i still wish they integrated a file to this clipper. Definitely on the pricey side compared to drug store clippers, but the quality difference is very apparent.

I really love these nail clippers. They are very sharp, precise, and compact. They feel comfortable in the hand and are easy to use. Their small size makes them perfect for storing in a cosmetic bag or taking with you when traveling. The quality is excellent!!!

...But 1-Star to the Amazon fullment employee for packing my pkg as though I am worthless as a customer and as though the Victorinox Company doesn't count. Victorinox was highly disrespected by a disregarding Amazon packer in this case. The red plastic end of these clippers was not only half melted, but looked like it had been dragged under a tire. The Victorinox package was not just already opened, but literally seemed to have been caught in some machine, and yet, the Amazon pack-bag was just fine, so the packer just shoved a defective one in there, and probably a pre-returned one from another's purchase. It all looked so bad that it instantly made Amazon look bad in my eyes, but I especially felt sorry for the reputable Victorinox Company being treated so badly by Amazon fulfillment. The metal part of the clippers work fabulously, still, but I'm not happy at all with the damaged appearance, and ESPECIALLY not happy about the Amazon employee having the audacity and shameful disregard of sending this with the "Amazon inspected and repackaged" sticker on there--have they no shame at all??!? Do they think I'm just going to roll over and take this? No I'm not, and especially because the Victorinox company is being abused as well. Amazon, this is so disrespectful that I don't see how this employee should be allowed to work at Amazon--they have callously blown off and undermined 3 entities: Me, the the customer, the Victorinox company, and their own employer, the Amazon company!...FOUR, if you count them stepping all over themselves and their own job with such irreverence. I am seeking a refund, and I should not have to spend a 45-min round trip to town at my expense in order to send this shamefully damaged product back only to have someone else experience feeling just as trashed as a customer. People, I HIGHLY recommend all Victorinox products, they are wonderful, so don't let this obviously isolated experience of mine deter you from experiencing their wonderful products. I am quite sure this is a rare incident where I just got treated by an ignoramus who probably has no self respect, either, so I'll be praying for them to get a conscience and be less self-abusing as well--maybe they need a job elsewhere. No one does this to others who isn't doing this do themselves, that's my opinion. It's not likely your Victorinox item will arrive in poor condition, and I won't be giving up my Victorinox products--they are too fabulous not to have, plus, I've never had this happen before where I get a damaged Victorian product. I usually buy their paring knives, and I especially love their folding paring knife, and the thickness of their blades. As far as this clipper, I love that there is thumb support that prevents slippages and that the cutting edges are so precision.

Swiss craftsmanship has never disappointed. Although this nail clipper is small and compact, it’s the most convenient and sharpest one I’ve ever used. How sharp is it? Let me tell you — it’s so sharp that sometimes it cuts through your nails without making any sound at all. There’s none of that typical clicking or snapping noise when clipping. The trimmed nails don’t even need filing afterward; the edges are completely smooth, with no roughness or burrs whatsoever.

This is a small, bordering on tiny fingernail clipper. The gap between the blades is small, so one must be attentive to position it properly. There are many better options out there

Ich habe diesen Victorinox Nagelknipser gekauft, weil ich etwas Kleines und Zuverlässiges für unterwegs gesucht habe. Er ist sehr kompakt, passt problemlos ins Portemonnaie oder in eine kleine Tasche und ist dennoch richtig scharf. Die Verarbeitung wirkt hochwertig, nichts wackelt, und er macht genau das, was er soll: zuverlässig schneiden. Für mich absolut praktisch und empfehlenswert. Soll ich etwas verändern?
