Excellent quality silicone oven gloves comfortable to wear and wash well and provides a secure grip area for holding on to hot pots or pans and when moving food in the oven.Im disabled and an electric wheelchair user and I find these really good oven gloves a lot safer than the material ones. If hot fluid spills or leaks out the gloves just repells the fluid and heat they are easy to wash and dry and provide excellent protection of your hands wrists and lower arm. Most importantly the grip as I said before is excellent you can lift pan lids sauce pan handles with confidence

I bought these mitts to replace an almost identical pair I'd been using for nearly 20 years. (In the end, one of them had split, after several thousand uses.) The new ones are the same excellent quality as before – reassuringly thick but still flexible – providing total, non-slip protection from accidental burning or scalding. The only difference is that this time I chose a nice bright yellow (instead of blue last time) so I can never fail to find them when I need them.As for the reviewer who's given them one star because s/he has small hands, you can never please everyone with a one-size product. Personally, I find them just a fraction too tight but I wouldn't deduct more than a tenth of a star for that.

When first using these gloves I relied on them when removing a hot dish from the oven. Ouch! My hands were only slightly burned but if there had not been a nearby surface to put the hot dish on it would have been a lot worse. These gloves provide very little insulation. Beware. They are also peculiarly stiff and cumbersome.

The gloves work wonderfully when removing hot dishes from the oven and ensuring no dishes slip. The extra length helps with the prevention of burns. All in all a great product

The design of the gloves makes using them to remove trays from the oven very difficult. On a number of occasions I've almost dropped heavy trays.

Os good to feel safe when your hand are in the oven pickup a hot dish. So glad we got these.
