Madhouse by Michael Aram 12 Count Translucent Assorted Twig Design Cutlery, Clear

I bought these to use in our camper. They're technically disposable plates, but they're sturdy enough to wash and reuse. I like that they are very lightweight and thin for storage (weight = gas when you're hauling 5,000+ pounds!) and the look of them is whimsical enough to feel right while camping. The wood grain pattern is pressed into the plate on the top side, so it's not perfectly smooth on that side. This turns out to be a benefit while camping, as food doesn't slide around on the plate as you're doing the dance of passing people in a narrow walkway. (You campers know what I'm talking about!)Should you be considering these for camping or another small space, I found that the entire 12 count will fit vertically into a magazine file. Takes up only a few inches of space in my cabinet, making use of the vertical space that so often goes unused. .

I bought this thinking it was a luncheon size plate so I could replace my Tupperware plates that do need replacing. When they came in, I was disappointed in the size as they were bigger than a coffee cup saucer plate but much smaller than a luncheon plate. Now these would be perfect for serving plates for cake or pie or finger foods so in a way I should've measured better in what I was looking for. I had to return them because they did not fit my needs. They are nice looking and not flimsy so if you are looking for small serving plates, I would recommend these to you but they are not for luncheon plates.

These are functional, fairly durable, and definitely interesting. They are awkward to hold as one might imagine, however for the limited use they will see with most people purchasing them for a backyard barbecue or something to that effect - they work fine. I purchased the set of black utensils, and later wanted more. I logged on here only to notice that the set of clear utensils, is 50% less. You will pay about $23.00 for the black set, and $11 for the clear. You decide if plastic rarely used utensils are really worth the price. With that being said, I ordered 2 more sets of clear. Get twice the product for the same price.

Look very nice, but a couple warnings/suggestions.1. Put less adhesive on the bar code stickers! Peeling off one on each of the 12 plates was ridiculously tedious. I want that 1/2 hour of my life back please. Very frustrating, unless maybe your a meth-head and like that sorta thing.2. Seems like quality product, but the plastic seems little thinner than I would have expected for the price. Will see how it holds up.

Picture was misleading. I was expecting a solid black colored wooden looking plate and i got a very see-thru black-ish plate, though it says translucent in the title, i admit i focused on the pic. In order to pull off what i got these for in the first place i'll need to paint them or put some solid black color backing on it.But overall quality is ok.

This twig cutlery is really unique. I bought it to set out and use at Halloween for a "spooky" look. It is as durable as strong plastic cutlery you find in the store, not the cheap stuff, but it will crack. I used it a holiday season without incident. It was fun for Halloween. It would be neat used in a rustic scene too. It was rather expensive though to buy service for a large group.

Love the look of these,but they got cracks in them after first wash.Not only that,but it says that they’re dishwasher safe,and they got weaker that way.We hand washed them until one just snapped in my hand! Definitely didn’t last long!

We needed some lightweight plates for lunchtime or poolside and these have been great - what I would call a smoky darkest brown/black, they have the wood look to them, but the weight is so nice and light. I have RA and some days heavy plates are not what I trust my hands to carry. Repeated washing has not diminished their new look in any way.

I thought they were opaque black, they are not. The word ''translucent'' was super exotique to me. Very sturdy but, a bit cheap looking compared to the picture. Good for camping, parties and human gatherings....not for restaurants. I'm stupid but I'm learning.

Product is ok, but MSRP is only $6.

Very cheap plastic. Wouldn’t even make fancy camping plates. The dollar store would provide better quality.
