Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 DRAM 2666MHz (PC4 21300) C16 Desktop Memory Kit - Black (CMK16GX4M2A2666C16)

I purchased the Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 2666MHz for a mid-range build, and it’s been working flawlessly. Installation was quick and easy, and my system recognized the full 16GB without any issues. The performance is stable and reliable for everyday tasks, gaming, and light productivity work. While 2666MHz isn’t the fastest speed available, it’s more than enough for most users, and Corsair’s reputation for quality definitely shows here. The low-profile heat spreaders are a nice touch, especially for builds with limited space or large CPU coolers. No overheating or stability issues so far. If you're looking for dependable RAM at a reasonable price, this kit is a great choice. Highly recommended for budget-conscious builders or anyone upgrading an older system.

I recently upgraded to a Skylake system after holding onto an aging AMD FX build for years. I decided to go with four sticks of this Corsair Vengeance LPX for my new build. I'm very happy with it so far. Some will say that RAM is RAM as long as it functions at the advertised speeds and while they are probably right I like the fact that this stuff is built by a well-known company with a solid reputation and phenomenal customer service. All four sticks are working great and run at their advertised speed. The included XMP profile loads right into the BIOS of my EVGA board for no-fuss voltage, timing, and frequency control. The low profile and relatively "no-frills" look makes for nice, affordable and great preforming RAM. Some people may want the gigantic Dominator sticks with massive heat-spreaders and LEDs, but for my purposes (intense gaming and moderate photography and graphic work) the Vengeance LPX is fantastic.

ram has returned to sane prices. in 2015 i built a new skylake system and only put 16gb in it, figuring i would in a year or so, add in another 16gb and have 32gb. oh buddy, that is when ram prices decided to go insane and i quietly made my 16gb work out the best i could. i have decided to upgrade my system, since there was nothing wrong with the 16gb kit i had, i ordered another one. Ironically for a little less thani paid for it in 2015 cause of artificially inflated prices over the last few years of price fixing done by the memory companies. these are good ram kits, they aren't flashy, but they are reliable. i know there are faster speeds out there, but when these are on sale, its hard to beat their price. i got my second set for $50, so i am not worried about the few fps i might gain in games, or the few unnoticeable seconds i might shave off of any other task that faster ram might offer.

Bought the 2x8 for 16gb at 2666mz speeds (all my mobo could handle) previously had 1 8gb stick adata. On sale for $52. Been seeing a ton of videos on single channel bottleneck, went for dual. Not to mention that I always capped my 8gb fast 😒 Installed as easy as pushing them in, booting to BIOS for speed selection, reinstalling graphics driver, and worked like a charm! 16 fast GBs! I've seen an average of 20-35 fps gains (your gpu can still bottleneck this..) but fair to say I'm one happy camper! 10/10 recommend. For the top review on the guy who recieved a piece of wood... I think some employee might have stolen and swapped the part. That's it :/

a little pricey but good quality

I was recently using an Alienware Aurora R4 with 16GB of RAM. Since then, I really don't want to settle for any amount of RAM less than that. So, when I built this new PC of mine, I bought this RAM. I'm glad that it's DDR4 and is faster than the DDR3 RAM I used to use. I can't quite say that I notice a difference between the two, but that's actually a positive. It means that this RAM is performing as expected, which is great. This isn't the only Corsair product in my new PC, nor is it even near the first Corsair product I've used in my life time. I think this RAM is good and I don't see a need for more, although that may change over time.

Enabled XMP in the BIOS(Z170 chipset), booted just fine at the advertised XMP speed of 2666MHz with CAS latency of 16. I have another kit that's literally the same memory but with white LED's(Micron IC's and all) and that kit I was able to manually overclock to 3000MHz with the same timings and voltage, but these would not. Can't knock off a star for that though because these aren't advertised to be able to hit those speeds, I just got lucky with the others. I know it wasn't just a fluke that the others booted at that higher speed because I ran them like that for over a year after running Memtest86 and 8 hours of Realbench with max memory selected. Could also be that the extra stress on my memory controller due to all 4 DIMM slots being occupied prevented the extra OC, but I doubt it. Can't win them all. But this kit is still perfectly fine and runs as they should.

Arrived as expected, working as expected.

Superbes barettes de RAM Avec mes anciennes barettes HyperX 2666MHz pour 4 barettes de 4 Go, deux sont mortes ce qui m'a permis d'upgrade le tout en prenant 2 barettes de 8Go pour avoir 24Go au total à 2666MHz. Elles ne posent aucun soucis de taille avec leur contour en aluminium car celui ci reste assez fin pour ne prendre que la place du Bus Ram sans empiéter sur le reste. Niveau chaleur je n'ai rien remarqué d'anormal, niveau fonctionnement non plus. Dès l'ajout des barettes j'ai senti un changement considérable que ça soit dans les calculs basiques type traitement d'image, rapiditée de lancement de certaines applications etc... Je n'ai plus non plus de problèmes de freezes sur certains jeux assez lourd qui, même avec 8Go et une 1070Ti pouvais bloquer. Super cam, je n'hésiterais pas à recommander ;)
