Have looked through this book and enjoy what I see. It outlines Thai characters and how to write them as well as giving you plenty of space to practice. Have not found any errors in this book and I find the pronunciation information a lot better and more accurate than the second book I purchased i.e. "Thai Alphabet". Would recommend this to people learning to write Thai. I purchased it to practice what I had already learn after living in Thailand for some 7 years.

Ad ogni lettera dell'alfabeto Thai è legata una parola ben specifica, per motivi che non sto qui a spiegare. Beh, in questo abecedario NON viene indicato! Quindi dovrete manualmente cercarvi voi le parole da trascrivere di fianco a ogni consonante. Per le vocali poi neanche 2 righe per spiegare che il simbolo che vedete ripetuto in ogni combinazione di vocali sta ad indicare la posizione che la vocale assume rispetto alla consonante a cui si lega, ovvero: sotto, sopra, davanti, dietro o attorno. Ci dovete arrivare da soli, come ho fatto io... no comment. Assolutamente sconsigliato.

This workbook, printed in 8.5 x 11 format, presents the letters of the Thai alphabet in both their modern form (TV commercials, signs) and traditional form (textbook). For each consonant, it provides the tone class (high, mid, or low), a transliteration, the pronunciation, and 1.5 pages for practicing writing the letter in both the modern and traditional form. The book does not contain any "lesson" material. In other words, it does not attempt to explain the Thai tone rules, the significance of the consonant classes, or any aspect of Thai grammar. It is strictly intended for developing muscle memory in writing the Thai alphabet. For anyone interested in learning how to write Thai, it seems like a bargain at $6. Also, the author expressly grants students and teachers the right to photocopy any part of the book for personal use.
