Fully recommended, perfect match for Rode Wireless Go bodypack transmitter.
I own three of these lavalier mics and this review comes after using them extensively. The Rode Lavalier Go is a perfect companion to the Rode Wireless Go.The mic itself is very compact and can be clipped with the included removable and reversible clip. The connector itself is a 3.5 mm TRS connector, which is simply of the push-type without the knurled lock-nut. However this does not matter since the Rode Wireless Go does not have a locking receptacle. The cable is of reasonably robust construction, even though it is quite slim.In actual use it holds up well and seems to be well shielded; since I've tested it in close proximity to RF Interference generators. This was a doubt that I had, and wanted to clarify. The only grouse that I have with it is that it is slightly shorter than standard length of professional level lavalier mics which reduces one's flexibility in its actual usage on miking up a talent, but to a small extent; and is within acceptable limits. In conclusion, this Lavalier Go Mic works well and is perfectly matched to the Rode Wireless Go.Fully recommended.

Good mic for nikon dslr 3300, works for laptop mobile recording too, reduce noise very well
Hi, I have attached this mic to nikon dslr 3300, and catching sound very well with high level of sound quality. Make sound setting to manual mode. When connecting to laptop recording port sound level is lesser, so in mobile my phone is redmi note 3 2016 version. No battery required. It records in laptop mobiles. In my laptop record and sound output ports are stereo 3.5mm and different port not a single combined port. It cancel noise. It works well with dslr directly, stereo port 3.5mm jack. If you need to amplify sound in pc laptop you may need a preamp but I dont know how.But to use with Dslr camera it works fine and no extra power needed.

Good Product with Media MOD
I tried other cheaper options and failed. Then I went for this . It is perfect for GoPro with media MOD. The sound clarity is very good while riding. It is easily attachable to your helmet . Overall a quality product.

Super disappointed - worst product ever
Waste of money. While recording the noise floor exist due to which the normal recording volume decreases. Can record better and more clear without the mike. So imagine how low quality mike they are giving. They don't have a return policy too which means the money has gone down the drain ...

Best for Motovlogging.
The best product in the category.Im a Motovlogger and i tried various combinations of mics with my go pro but nothing gave as pleasing results as this one. Very impressed, say you get what you pay for and I think they are right
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. My first Rode Lavalier microphone, a very small microphone and very thin cable but very tough.I was surprised when I connected it to the sound recorder that I had to turn the gain down because it picks up your voice so well, I could not hear any background noise so I was very impressed. They say you get what you pay for and I think they are right, well made feels very sturdy like it's not going to break.I will be using this from now on.

Not the usual expected quality from Rode!!!
Noise floor is terrible on this mic, absolutely horrific. Sounds tinny without post processing, and the reflections picked up from use in a confined space with no noise treatment make this almost unusable - not the usual quality I've come to expect from Rode gear. Still usable outside, where the external noise drowns out the noise floor of the mic anyway. Depends on your use case and scenario as to how useful this mic will be.

Not compatable with the 'Go' kit - not the Movie Maker kit.
I am sure its fine for the Go kit. The lavalier on my Rode movie maker kit is faulty - probably a strained wire connection. So, I bought the GO microphone in the hope that it was compatable with the movie maker kit. It's not - it picks up the wireless signal from the movei maker transmitter. I tried a second one and it was the same. So, beware!

Rode lapel microphone
A little pricey, but you get quality. Sounds great connected to my GoPro 8 Hero black via the media mod . I am using under my crash helmet for both road and trails bikes helmets. The sound is great with a dead cat attached.
