I usually buy the paper mate red, blue, and green pack but they are so expensive. I got 10 pieces of each color with this pack. They are slightly more brittle than the paper mate during a short test but if you just barely expose enough lead to write with they work pretty good. They erase about as good as other brands except for the "grey," yellow, and pink, proabbly because you can never really erase colored lead and the lightness of these colors doesn't really change when your erase them. In the pic, I colored in 2 boxes, tried erasing the middle of the second box, and wrote a word next to that.

I was really looking forward to using these for notes but was heavily disappointed when they arrived..... all the colors besides the green, pink, and red was sum what usable, but they all broke upon use no matter how much pressure was used.... would not use not worth the money

I like the idea of the .7 mm lead but for me, it was too thin and a little bit too soft. one of the colors was not dark enough and in fact would not even write (violet). The other colors were alright. I wanted to use it to mark up my Bible. I wanted something Not as scalable as a marker, so I thought that was a good idea.

All colors broke when I used them on paper or fabric. Completely useless for what I wanted.

The violet is the wrong color, it's practically gray, the orange is yellow, they break REALLY easily, not a good product. I do like the colors on the rest but not worth it because of how easily they break. I was hoping to get them for sketching because I got a new sketchbook but even just testing the colors it would break every time I finished a letter. Not recommended for heavy handed people at all. Do not buy.

I truly bought this set for the purple leads. It seems as though those are the worst ones. I’ve tested the green also and it seems to be fine. The purple does not work, brittle, breaks easily and does not write a deep color. I think because the purple leads are maybe old its somewhat dry rotted and that’s why it does not write a deep color. It’s faint. Not impressed with this product.

The fine leads are fragile, as I don't typically use automatic lead pencils, I may not be the best judge of this. I think this is usually the case and why I rarely use them. This lead seems as good or better than others I have tried. I would recommend it for sure because of the versatile color choices. I would suggest being sure to have two or three pencils to put the lead in because otherwise you will risk breaking more of the lead by handling them too often.

Like the quantity, quality and variety of colors.
