Walt Disney Records The Legacy Collection: Disneyland

A great soundtrack for anyone who is a fan of 2000-2015 Disneyland. It’s such an interesting time period with a good selection of songs on it, some songs not even available in the actual park anymore.

This is a really nice, rich collection. Tracks from some extinct attractions (Swiss Family treehouse, Country Bears), classics (Tiki Room, Pirates, Haunted Mansion), new rides (Cars Land, California Screamin, which is now extinct too I guess) and a complete Fantasmic 20-minute audio show. This is a bargain for 50 tracks (though some of them are pretty short), and fun to put on in the car.

I always purchased a music compilation cd when visiting the parks and enjoyed listening to them in the car to bring back the magic. Serious Disneyland, California Adventure, and Disneyworld fans will know what I mean. So I am very glad I purchased this set!! The photos and graphics in the liner notes highlight classic Disney art. It is a treat hearing music from Disneyland back in the original days of the park as well as listening to today's park standards. If you are a fan of Disney, the parks, and Disney history, art, and music, this is a must-have for your collection.

i close me eyes and it feels like im back at the theme park again, its really cool, love all the song including getting to hear songs from past rides from the park, that were there long before i was even born, but some older members in my family can remember those old forgotten rides of the past, this has brought great joy to the whole family, very fun to listen to. so happy i bought this. all three cd's were in great shape just as seller has said, and it arrived before the expected date and was packed up very well, was pleased with that.

Very cool collection! The best yet. For those who have visited Disneyland since it's beginning, it brings back memories of favorite attractions long gone as well as the current ones. This is an example of Disney's continual re-releasing and re-packaging of the same old stuff, with something new added. The "Enchanted Tiki Room" is great and in binaural stereo and should be listened to using headphones for a realistic audio experience. It is not the complete show, but it does bring back fond memories. Disney errs in not using the technically best recordings as virtually all Disneyland attractions used multi-channel sound. The "Pirates Of The Caribbean" is a letdown in monophonic sound. It's just crying for a binaural or surround sound soundtrack. The "Great Moments With Mr. Lincoln" lacks the vocal track. Still lacking in the collection is anything from "Captain EO". A worthwhile collection which will bring back alto of fond memories.

Although I could take or leave some tracks, I enjoyed Jerry Goldsmith's Soarin' theme and other tracks, and as an old guy who's been going to Disneyland since 1955, it's worth the price just to hear the eerie Rainbow Caverns theme alone after a few decades.

This 60th Anniversary Collectible 3-disc album features the timeless tracks from your favorite attractions (past and present) from Disneyland and California Adventure. The sound is crisp and clear and will audibly transport you to “The Happiest Place On Earth” seamlessly. Highly recommend this item to Disneyland fans.

I purchased this set of CDs to help us get excited for our upcoming Disney World trip. It's amazing! It's the music you hear on various rides (specifically love the Indiana Jones and Pirates Of The Caribbean) you feel like your walking around Disney, from the comfort of your own home. We had a blast pretending to be on Splash Mountain and visualize where we'd be on the ride. Highly reccomend, just for fun, but especially to get you excited about a trip coming up.

Toda una joya, es un verdadero privilegio escuchar música del parque Disneyland en esta edición tan cuidada. La calidad de audio y los contenidos del libreto son muy buenos y no muy habituales a la hora de encontrar ediciones especiales o incluso convencionales de otras bandas sonoras, en general. Me ha llegado en perfecto estado.

I have many Disney music cds, and was concerned about repetition, however as the title indicates this collection is focused on the tunes at Disneyland, which are familiar yet perhaps different in terms of arrangements and performances etc. I wish amazon would supply the complete listing, The 3 disc set provides a variety of music from Disneyland Park, Disney California Adventure Park, and Disneyland Spectaculars - including my favourites the Electrical Parade, and Fantasmic. In the cd package is an attached 14 page, two sided booklet with extensive notes and artwork. Highly recommended for any fan of the park, movies, or Disney music in general.
