Light, compact, clear and loud
What a great set of PA speakers. They don’t produce much bass under 60hz, but a sub is usually recommended if you intend to use for FOH. Perfectly fine for medium size stage monitor. Might buy a couple more in the near future.

Great sound!
Installed a pair of these on stage as monitors at a church with limited stage space. The footprint is small but the sound is big! Very clear. Handles enough power to have great presence even at low volume.

Yamaha doesn’t disappoint.
Over decades of playing and listening to music, I have come to believe that you can’t go wrong with Yamaha products. This speaker is no exception. I’m using it mounted to a sub woofer for vocals and acoustic guitar in our band, and it does a great job. Depending on the size of the audience (up to 200), it rocks. For larger venues, you may want multiple sets.
