DEWALT Bit Holder, 3-in-1, Impact Ready (DWA3HLDFT)

Good bit holder with OK magnetic retention. Could be stronger magnet to hold screws along with screw tip. Works OK but does not hold onto longer screws over about 2" with current magnet.

The best bit holder you can get. Perfect fit and strong magnetic strength. Also it can swivel.

This holder has taken all of the frustration out of using my DeWalt impact driver. The tool works great, but the bits often get stuck in the screws, slowing production down and causing frustration. With this holder, that is a problem of the past. It's sooo nice that the bits are held securely!!

Great Purchase, awesome tool. I was in need of a Hex Bit Adapter/Extension for my new Cordless Drill. There were many to choose from here at Amazon. This was a half inch longer than what I wanted and just a bit more expensive than some of the others. But even though most of the photos in the reviews were showing failure of the Locking Mechanism. I decided to get this one anyway, because of the Dewalt Name. Now glad I did. Love the Locking Mechanism and the magnet inside is no slouch either. With a Hex Bit in place. There is enough magnetism to pick up multiple Screws out of a pile. So, I know if I place a Screw on the tip of a Hex Bit. It's not going anywhere unless I manage to somehow knock it off. I liked it so much. I came back and ordered two more. Now I have one in each of the Emergency Tool Bags I keep in my two Vehicles and one in the garage for the Cordless Drill.

It works okay but it still doesn't hold the bits with the impact. It still gets stuck and falls off.

Many of the reviews claim that the bits are nearing impossible to remove from this holder. I had exactly that same problem. At first, I thought that mine was defective, but when I saw so many other folks with the same problem, I gave it another look. I now know the “Trick”. There is an arrow on the holder. (See my photo) Firmly hold the black portion with the arrow and pull towards the hex shaft. The bit will release.

The best bit holder ever. Magnet holds screws well.

Es un buen portapuntas, tiene buen imán, además de que trae un seguro para que las puntas no se salgan. considero que es un poco estorboso para aplicaciones en espacios reducidos. De ahí en fuera, funciona muy bien, mejora el agarre de la punta en el tornillo y previene barrer la cabeza de los tornillos.

O produto é ótimo! Mas a entrega da Amazon tem deixado muito a desejar, antes chegava bem rápido. Agora sempre atrasa dias.
