Calvin KleinDress Shirts Slim Fit Non Iron Solid

The fabric is great, the workmanship appears great. The cut, however, is more loose than I expect for a slim fit shirt. The cut is somewhere between a slim fit and a classic cut, modern maybe. There is a good amount of extra fabric around the stomach and lower back area. Enough to gather and fold over itself. 1st picture is side view of my lower back, 2nd is front view showing fabric gathered on the side, and 3rd image is showing the cut of the shirt looking more like a classic cut.I ordered a 16 neck 34/35 sleeve slim fit. The label is marked as such. I have 41 inch chest and a 31 inch mid-section. I would say there is enough fabric on this shirt's mid-section to fit someone with a 36, maybe a 38 inch waist without being too tight.My dilemma is, do I send this and the other two colors back for a refund (don't want to upset Amazon with a high return rate) or do I have them tailored to a true slim fit, increasing the cost of each shirt to a point where it may have been cheaper to buy at a department store.

Updated review (8/25/2015): I purchased one of these shirts about 18 months ago, and loved the fit. They were unavailable for a long period of time, and when they re-appeared, I bought two more in different colors (blue and black)—what a mistake.Maybe the slim people in the world have gotten bigger, but I certainly have not. There is now a lot of extra material around the waist and chest (and while I am slim, I am certainly not skinny), and I have to fold a pleat in the sides when tucking the shirt in to keep it from being baggy, and even then it looks too big.If you are counting on a slim fit shirt, DO NOT PURCHASE this. It is not really slim fit at all.Original Review: It is nice to actually find a shirt that fits well and doesn't have loads of excess material around the chest and waist. I like the material, and it doesn't need ironing if you pull it out of the dryer quickly. (No longer true with the most recently shipped product.)

This shirt is excellent quality. nice medium weight fabric, not sheer, but not heavy.I measured my husband's neck, had him flex his neck a little, so it wouldn't choke him. His neck was exactly 15.5", so that's what I ordered. I followed the instructions to measure his arm from the middle of the back of his neck, down the back of his arm, over the elbow (bent at 90 degree angle) and then to the base of his wrist. 34" - so I got the 34"-35" length. The shirt arrived today, and everything about it was perfect. the fit was slim but not tight. This shirt is fantastic.

This shirt is absolute garbage. It is criminally non-slim fitting. The material feels rough and wrinkles during wear. The midsection is far too large and it bulges out in the back. The workmanship is shoddy. There are crinkles along the line where the back meets the shoulder piece. I don't know what's wrong with this (or Calvin Klein shirts in general), but even though this was branded the same as shirts I bought in a department store, it is a completely different shirt. The manufacturer should be ashamed of this junk.

- Great fit! I have a slender build and it fits great.- Feels smooth. It's got a slick sheen to it and tiny bit of a shine to it.- The stitching looks like it's good quality- Wrinkles that came with it fell out quickly with a dry iron- Wife said it looks really good on me. I'm happy.

I almost did not buy these as i read a couple reviews stating that there was "extra" material present on the bottom. This is just not accurate as these shirts fit amazing. Be sure to measure yourself correctly ! better yet, have someone do it for you :) Middle of your neck, down the back of your arm to your wrist with your elbow flexed at a 90 degree. Great material and comfortable. Not thick and not thin .... perfect breathable fabric ! Hands down the best shirts i have bought in quite some time. Absolutely recommend. I bought 3 and will be buying more :)

The shirt looks and fits pretty well and I am hard to fit being slender and having long arms. I haven't washed it yet to see if it shrinks. The material is rather thin and the construction is lower quality than expected for Calvin Klein and the price paid. There were lots of loose threads I had to trim. I'm using it for a costume, and it works fine for that.

I'm having the most difficult time sizing this for my son! I measured his arms, neck, chest, but the sizes they tell me to go with are too small. He's 6'1" and 156 pounds. He's quite muscular, but slender (he's a wrestler). He has long arms. I went with the 16" neck and 34-35 arms, but he said it was too tight across his shoulders. I'm going with the 18" neck 34-35. His neck is 15 something. If it fits, it will be a nice looking shirt.

Size was good, I ordered my regular size. But when I compared this shirt to one (Calvin Klein slim fit) that I bought at the store I found some differences. The labels (letters, size) were different. This shirt looked like it is not an original....So paying this price for an imitation is too much

La camisa es justo como la descripción, en cuanto a la talla (15.5" 36-37) le quedó perfecta! fue un regalo para mi esposo que es muy alto, mide 1.98m (6'6") y es de complexión delgada por lo que siempre sufre mucho para encontrar camisas que le queden de lo largo y de la manga, pero ésta le quedó muy bien .. En cuanto a la calidad es buena acorde con relación a su precio, la tela es de buena calidad

The material is way thinner than I was expecting. It's practically see-through. To cover my pink hairy chest I had to get a long-sleeve undershirt because a regular undershirt looked really obvious through the thinness of the dress shirt.Other than that, it's a nice shirt. Seems to be well made. It is definitely slimmer than a regular fit but roomier than a fitted fit. I'm not particularly skinny but a regular fit always has way too much extra fabric flapping around and this shirt is just right.

The cut is absolutely not slim. In fact you could be quite overweight and still fit in this. But it’s a well made comfortable classy non-iron shirt.
