Nicely constructed, and fits very nicely. I would highly recommend this product and would buy it again!

This is a great chest strap. My only complaint is that it sometimes slides down the actual backpack straps. It also has some extra that hangs down that sometimes gets in the way.

My Herschel park did not come with a chest strap. I really like that this helped me make my existing pack more comfortable and useful.

If it is too long cut the strap with scissors and fuse the end with a lighter or match.

Adjustment is not as easy on-the-fly as the original chest piece from eBags (now out of business) but that's fine, it's working well for me. Once you have the strap "dialed in" to your liking it works well if you and loop & tie the adjustment strap around itself to lock the strap in place (see picture). Glad I got the two-pack, I will definitely use the other strap on another bag.

I like this item, but it's a little long for the backpack that I have right now.

I actually used this to replace the shoulder strap set and zippers that my dogs chewed up, worked great. I actually prefer the zipper, it is very grippy

For a long, long time, i put up with my backpack falling off my shoulders. I even tried tying a length of material from one side to the other. Then i came to my senses and bought these. Brilliant, snap the 2 sides together in a second and no more falling off the shoulder and so much more comfortable.

My son was complaining that his shoulders were hurting from his backpack. The straps were always slipping open and off of his shoulders. These are very easy to install on each side and worked instantly, relieving his pain. They are adjustable and sturdy. I would advise these for anyone walking with a backpack for extended periods of time, for comfort and ergonomics.
