So what difference does a sink strainer make? A whole lot!!! This is a high quality product that is extremely well made, heavy weight materials, easy to install and looks great in our renovated sink. We also purchased a less expense strainer from another brand and there was no comparison between them. The less expense strainer was returned quickly. The price is high, but you definitely get what you pay for. Kitchen renovations are not inexpensive, but there is no reason to cut corners and save $50-$60 by buying a cheaper strainer unit that will stand out like a sore thumb. This unit is built to last, like all Kohler products.

Massive drain. If you can afford it this is the drain to buy. Solid and easy to install. Quick plug to stop and drain.

Nice piece and easy to install. I was disappointed that the one I received had the Kohler name etching on the rim was not centered with the crosshair in the drain. For the price I would expect it to be perfect. Unfortunately, I needed a working sink sooner than later. I decided to keep it and not return it, but I am keeping one star instead.

Very beautiful color, our plumber actually commented on the quality and was glad that in our brand new gray kohler sink we were putting in a high quality set of drains. Also bought the disposal drain and dishwasher air gag in this brand and color.

I really didn't much about the tailpiece until I bought this. Even the smallest part of this package was awesome! Worth the extra money!
