Can I be the official spokesperson for this stuff? And does the brand have other products? Strap in, y'all. We are going for a little ride. I'm turning 40 soon, and I 9only recently started taking skincare seriously. I was a sun worshiper who never applied sunscreen or moisturizer and slept in my makeup like it was my JOB. A few months ago, I started seeing sunspots and wrinkles and decided to do something about it, so I got some products - including tretinoin - and tried to anti-grandma myself. Thing is, tretinoin will eat your face off. It's pretty harsh stuff. I'm red and irritated (fortunately no peeling), and I tend to wear makeup about five days a week. I had NOTHING that would take off my waterproof makeup without irritating my skin except micellar water, but that doesn't exactly moisturize as it cleanses. Enter the Vera cleansing oil. Found it for less than $4 here on Amazon and decided to start double cleansing at night with ONLY hydrating products. I didn't have high hopes. Six ounces of anything for $4 tends to indicate it's crap. Not this stuff, y'all. Not this stuff. I applied it for the first time and almost CRIED. It is so HEAVENLY. It smells like my grandmother but in a very pleasant way thanks to the gardenias. I love it. I poured about a dime size into my palm and gently massaged it over my face - including my eyelids. It. Melted. My. Makeup. It was GONE. It came right off. Even the mascara!!! After letting it sit for a couple minutes on my face, I emulsified it (splashed water on my oil slick of a face) and gently massaged in small circles. Then I rinsed it off. There was ZERO irritation, and thanks to the tretinoin, everything irritates my face right now - even the gentlest cleansers in existence. Y'all, I swore off oil cleansers years ago because they don't rinse completely. THIS DOES, and my face... omg y'all, my face... it was so soft. I didn't even feel I needed to follow it up with another cleanser. It was THAT good. As long as this stuff is available, I will buy it. In fact, I want to bathe in it. At this price, I almost could! Y'all, if you're on the fence, BUY IT. You will not be disappointed. I like this stuff more than the expensive cleansing oils... a LOT more. I'm a happy camper, and my tretinoin-irritated face is pretty happy, too.

I first bought this when it was $10 or $11 and I thought that was a great price. But someone on here said they bought it for $4??? I'm jealous! 2nd time I bought it, it was $18 (insert crying emoji). Still worth it though. One bottle lasts me a couple of years. I use it on average 2 to 3 times a week. I love that there is only 4 ingredients, but it works SO well. I have used many other oil cleansers, from low-end to high-end. Vera Botanics is my favorite. Now, I like to keep my skincare very, very basic and clean. I wouldn't say my skin is sensitive, but my pores get clogged easily. This gets all the makeup off and rinses clean. I hope they keep making this and never discontinue. All the products I like tend to get discontinued.

I got this product because I was looking for an affordable oil cleanser. I like that this one feels rich and gets off all my makeup, but it doesn't break me out - I have sensitive, acne-prone skin and I haven't been breaking out at all from this. I've been using it for about 2 months now. It has a nice scent that isn't too strong, a little floral but not bad. It emulsifies really well when you add water, after working it onto your skin. You do need to use a second cleanser after this, but that's true for all oil cleansers. It doesn't leave a greasy feeling after the second cleanse, but also doesn't dry out my skin. Overall, great oil cleanser!

I am big into skincare and this product caught my eye right away. Its simple clean and non irritating ingredients along with its low price made it easy to try. I struggle with severe dry and cracked skin along with acne so it is hard for me to find a product that wont cause one or the other. But this, this is it. I put it on and it felt a little weird but after you wash it off your face feels like a baby. I have been leaning towards using products to target my acne so my face has been extra dry rough and cracked. I have tried everything from creams to ointments and this was all I needed. I feel smooth, hydrated, clean, and it even calmed down my redness. I would buy this again! It is totally worth a try if you need a good oil based cleanser.

I was using another face clenser and I loved it, however the price was too high.I looked around for another oile clenser and decided on Vera because of the affordable price and it only has 4 ingredients. I was taking a chance on a new product. I dont regret it. The product is light, not greasy and the scent is perfect for me. I dont wear perfumes etc. I No irritation and my skin doesnt feel dried out after usage. Im a customer for life.

This oil cleanser worked great as part of my two-step cleansing routine. The olive oil does its job without clogging pores and its combination with caprylic/capric triglyceride prevents the stripping effect that some cleansers tend to have, but instead provides good moisturization. I have oily skin and did not notice any issues after weeks of introducing this product into my routine; it is gentle on the skin and is very effective. I generally do not like the addition of fragrant oils such as geranium oil in my skincare products; however, in this product geranium oil is at a relatively low concentration and the cleanser is a wash-off cleanser, so any sensitization that could possibly occur from the geranium is mitigated. Overall this is a well-formulated, effective oil cleanser.

This is a very quality product for the price. It is moisturizing, it smells lovely, and for the first week I had very high hopes of loving my skin post-use. But, my skin took a turn for the worst and I started to have the worst acne I've ever had in my life. I persisted thinking it'll balance out soon, but after a few weeks and too many cystic pimples, I gave up. For those whose skin does well with oil products, this is GREAT stuff. If you're prone to breaking out at the first sign of oil, I'd stay away...
