Overall, a good pen to write with
It is a pleasure to write with this pen. The ink always flows well, never slips or scratches. the nib does not need any kind of break-in.I did not expect the pen to be so small, but it is less noticeable after a while and is comfortable to hold.I like the way the cap stays firmly on the pen.I was disappinted that one could not use cartridges with this pen, but my experience with the ink filler on the pen is that it works very well and hold a fair bit of ink.

Pelikan Fountain Pen M200 Black
This Pelikan fountain pen has a broad nib.I’m familiar with Pelikan for many years now quality and am happy with this pen.I have a Pelikan fine nib pen in marble and I’ve had it for quite a few years now and I’m still very happy with it.I’m sure this broad nib pen will be a great addition to my pens.I use these pens more to draw with than write, but either way, they’re a pleasure to use.

Best fountain pen
The ink reservoir is large and easy to fill, the nib writes smoothly, the ink flow is excellent (unlike some of my other fancier more expensive swiss black rounded end pens--they won't let me name names). Don't waste your money on cheap fountain pens, a M tip Pelican is all you need. I have Broad nib too and it is nice to use with thick stationary or for notary signatures. I use with Noodlers polar blue or Harbin dark inks. If you want to use light inks, get broader nib pen.

The broadest B nib in my stash
I buy virtually all of my pens in a B or Stub nib, because my writing is big and bold and i love to show off my shimmer inks. This is my first Pelikan B nib and this thing is not kidding about B for Broad. I own dozens of B pens and this is the broadest of the bunch! Very smooth nib and super light pen body.

Slight hitch in pen’s getalong
The pen feels and writes great, but the piston fill is not smooth throughout its travel. The piston also requires more than one cycle to effect a filling.
