Seems very durable. Heavy and durable. My daughter loves it she said its more legit than the ones at the ballparks she plays at. Great purchase so far

For temporary, light duty use only.
Suitable as is for youth leagues. Will not hold up well as kids approach high school age (softball or baseball). Expect the molded-in threaded metal inserts that receive the supplied spikes to eventually rip out of the rubber. A great modification to greatly extend its life and make it suitable especially for bull pen service is to not use the supplied spikes. Instead, counterbore six pilot pocket holes suitable for 80 penny nails and their heads (available at Lowes; Home Depot). Install by driving the nails right through the rubber plate into the ground. Installed in this manner, this plate will last for years.

VERY Durable, Heavy Duty, GOOD Value
I used this Pitchers Plate on a Portable Folding Pitchers Mound for Little League Baseball Players. Well made. I used 3/4 inch hex head bolts to fasten it to a plywood top with large flat washers which works very well. You will NEVER wear this pitching plate out: too tough. Great product at a Fair Price.

Missing pieces
Got my mound a day earlier, but missing the 3 spikes that suppose to come with it

Heavy, tough, good for a throw-down
This thing worked out great, it's pretty durable. The spikes, however, aren't so fun to deal with if you are on dry, hard ground. They are really big and driving them into hard soil is difficult. I just took off the spikes and use it for a throw-down for our team practices. If I wanted one for permanant placement, I'd get a different kind.

"NO STAKES"
Were are the stakes for the rubber. The plate seems to be made well but, there are no stakes. Do not buy this if you need the stakes also.

perfect for backyard practice
Great rubber for my daughter to practice her pitching. Stays in place and we can spend more time at home rather than packing up and heading to the park.
