Cantu Coconut Oil Shine & Hold Mist with Shea Butter for Natural Hair, 8 fl oz

This product works well for me. Recently took the full plunge to natural. Stopped chemical perms over a decade ago and was addicted to braids. Stopped braids and did a chop, so very natural in my curly hair. It was an adjustment but am loving it. Read a few reviews that This spray turn hair white, and it did for as well when used on dry hair. I wanted the finishing shine. When spray on wet hair, it gave more hold, helped with curls and with a beautiful shine. And it does smell good too, which is nice! Will be buying again for sure. If it's turning hair white, try wetting hair first, either after a wash day or just a wet spray. It worked for me!

I really like this hair spray, it’s not sticky, heavy and it doesn’t dry so hard on your hair that it brakes it. It has a moisture barrier that prevents breakage and damage. I love the way it holds even when you don’t wash it out before bed, the next day shake, comb and brush your hair and you are good to go.

It's a very light mist for your hair not to heavy or greezy.

I always want to like Cantu products. I really do. I’m cheap and always am looking for a deal, and as we all know, having natural hair is expensive. Unfortunately Cantu doesn’t do much for my 4b-4c hair. So yeah, the spray smells pretty good but it removes any sort of definition from my hair and makes it so that I can’t get any definition again until I wash it out. A shame. I have had to get rid of multiple Cantu products over the past few years. I wish I’d learn my lesson and stop trying them, but they always sound good on paper.

I have very fine yet curly and somewhat frizzy ends, especially after brushing through the curls. My hair ends up looking dry, frizzy and split ends until I add a few pumps of this all over my head, focusing on the ends. The coconut oil smooths and soothes my dry and brittle looking hair and doesn't evaporate quickly like argon oil can. It leaves a bit of shine and control with our without heat added. (Better hold with heat but great with curlers on wet to hair then let air dry). I've tried so many products over the years and prefer not to have to use heat to activate or are meant for the serums to work. Now with more of my hair growing in more coarse and gray it really helps smooth and calm my hair down. If you're going to start adding things to your hair to nourish and smooth them out start here and then see if you need anything else. You'll be a pleasantly surprised as I was to find out I don't need leave ins, gels, mousses and hairspray plus blow drying, curling iron and flat iron to get that smooth silky finish that is "seen on TV." It will not disappoint.

I like the fact that It add moisture and shine to my hair. I dislike the strong coconut smell that it has. I smell like im wearing a coconut body spray.

El producto como tal me agrada, cuando lo aplico en días en los que no me lavo el cabello se nota como reviven mis rizos y disminuye el frizz, lo único que me incomoda es cómo sale el spray de la botella, sale en un rango muy corto y con mucha presión, a veces prefiero aplicarlo primero en mis manos. Si eso no te molesta, lo recomiendo.
