Another Safe, High-Quality Staple for My Celiac Pantry
After having such a great experience with the fennel, I grabbed the Badia Whole Coriander Seeds to restock my spice cabinet. Once again, Badia did not disappoint. As someone with Celiac disease, finding whole spices that aren't a cross-contamination gamble is a huge relief. Why This is Celiac-Safe: Gluten-Free Labeling: Just like the fennel, this 12 oz bag is clearly labeled Gluten-Free. Reliable Facilities: I’ve used these seeds in everything from curries to dry rubs for months, and I have had zero reactions. The consistency across their single-spice line gives me so much peace of mind. Whole Seed Purity: Since these are whole seeds, you don't have the same high risk of hidden wheat-based anti-caking agents that can sometimes sneak into pre-ground powders. Quality & Flavor: Incredible Freshness: The aroma is immediate. As soon as you toast these in a pan, you get those bright, citrusy, and slightly floral notes that really elevate a dish. Better Than Ground: Ground coriander loses its "zing" almost instantly. These seeds stay fresh in the pantry and provide a much deeper, nutty and peppery flavor when you grind them yourself. Great Bulk Value: You get a massive 12 oz bag for what you'd usually pay for a tiny jar of a "premium" brand. It’s perfect for heavy users who do a lot of Indian or Mediterranean cooking. If you’re Celiac and tired of worrying about your spice rack, this is a must-buy. It’s safe, fresh, and affordable. I honestly won’t buy coriander from any other brand at this point.

Great Flavor and a Huge Amount for the Money
I’ve actually been using the same package of these Badia Coriander seeds since mid-2022, which says a lot about both the quantity and how well they’ve held up. Spices naturally lose some potency over time, but I swear these still seem nearly as flavorful and aromatic as when I first opened the container. I’ve used them in all kinds of recipes, but they are especially excellent in my homemade Russian rye bread. The flavor is warm, slightly citrusy, and very aromatic without being overly strong. The seeds have maintained a nice natural golden-brown color as well. They’re easy to work with too. They crush nicely in a mortar and pestle when I want a coarser texture, and they powder very easily in a spice grinder when I need finely ground coriander. The container gives you a surprisingly large quantity. Even after years of cooking and baking with them, I still have plenty left and honestly don’t think I’ll need to buy another package anytime soon. I also like using whole spices like coriander as an easy way to add a lot of flavor and aroma to food without needing a bunch of extra ingredients. Coriander is also naturally a source of plant compounds, which is a nice bonus, although the flavor is really why I keep using it. Great quality, great aroma, and an excellent amount for the price. I’d definitely buy these again whenever I finally manage to use them all.

A true test performed
Yes it works well on lower eye lid stye. Here is what I did. Boil water, drop in seeds and let boil for several minutes. During this time, place your eye over the steam coming from the pot, and that also will help soothe your eye and surrounding tissue. After the water becomes dark brown, dump the entire contents water and seeds in a strainer into a bottle to save. Get a small coffee cup, and pour a little in there while it’s still hot And use a facial cleansing pad dip into the hot solution and pad the stye and surrounding tissue lately until you can press it on the sty when the fluid begins to cool a little bit do not apply to stye boiling hot. Repeat this procedure for five minutes the seeds seem to have a stimulating effect as a vascular restrictor and you will see your eye actually turn white and the stye will calm down and proceed a slow healing process. The seeds will not cure your stye overnight, but they will certainly shorten the outcome of a long process which normally happens if you do nothing. I have tried many procedures over the years and this has been the best so far remember to keep your eyes lubricated, especially at night when you sleep use a heating pad on your eye three times a day with this method and you will be very happy.

Read this before buying!
I love these coriander seeds! They have a wonderfully fresh, citrusy, and slightly nutty flavor that elevates any dish. I use them whole for pickling, in curries, and even toasted slightly to release their full aroma—it’s like a flavor explosion in every bite! We it in bulk like this and grind it when needed. It’s so much cheaper and fresher this way. They are great for your gut health when added to dishes. They’re also super versatile: perfect for grinding into spice blends, adding to soups, or infusing in oil for dressings. I’ve even used them in homemade bread for a subtle, fragrant twist. The seeds are clean, plump, and full of flavor, and a little goes a long way. If you love cooking and experimenting with spices, these coriander seeds are a must-have in your pantry!

Toast them, then use them...
Great spice. You CANNOT compare store-bought ready ground coriander (even "major brand organic") with coriander seed that you grind "fresh". If you are using them in a dish that calls for ground coriander, take the same amount of seed, toast them lightly in a dry frying pan, then grind them in a mortar with a tiny bit of coarse sea salt. I can guarantee that you will find your toasted and ground seeds taste far better than the store-bought pre-ground version. You will discover so many more flavor nuances that you didn't know existed in coriander! Everything will taste better, believe me.
