Great for printing post cards!
If you are looking for a good paper for printing your own postcards that isn't a million dollars per sheet, this is it. I cannot tell you how many papers ive gone though and all the money ive wasted the last 30 days. They are either a good thickness with a terrible print quality or great print quality but incredibly thin meaning I have to glue it to something thicker which is very tedious and messy. This koala matte photo paper best thickness I can find with the best print quality that is very close up there with canon. For the price the fact that it gets as close to canon as it does at such a good gsm says enough. Good luck finding a heavy weight photo card stock for this price because I have checked everywhere. There is one other company that has all the things I am looking (even a better print quality than canon and thicker than anything ive found) except the price is insane and I cannot justify it for printing postcards occasionally at home for my hobby. With the koala thick matte photo paper I just use my paper trimmer to cut it to the exact size I want my post card and then print from there. I should have known to try koala considering I use their glossy viny sticker paperfor my etsy sticker business because it's the best around. This company is really great when it comes to all kinds of substrate and the price is always one of the best parts.

Very good quality and image reproduction
Surprised on how good this works on the Epson L3250 Ecotank. Finish is smooth and images look great. Printing mostly photos.

Vibrant colors and sturdy
I've been looking for the best quality paper to make bookmarks for my small business. This paper is by far the best I've tried. It gets the vibrant colors and small details perfectly and stays consistent with the color profile I've made on my computer. Will definitely be getting this again for my double sided bookmarks. You can see the comparison from another brand I tried behind this paper.

Great photo or flyer paper!
This is excellent quality photo paper that I have been using in my inkjet printer for quite a while. It prints extremely well borderless, and color saturation is excellent! Perfect for printing photos or flyers with a price that is competitive with any other similar type of paper.

Stiff Stuff
Idk if 4 stars is really fair because the product is mostly fine but in my experience I had issues with sort of tearing when trimming a book after binding and the edges of the print would look kind of torn where it was cut. This doesn't seem to happen with the 180gsm stuff so I think it may just be too stiff for bookbinding use, it kind of feels too stiff anyway. Otherwise, good stuff. Anyyyyyway, if you don't care about any of that, then this stuff will work fine, there's no real issue with it and would work fine for posters etc. But if you are looking for a larger format paper to print book covers on, stay away from gloss/semi-gloss/luster, the works. They will just be bad to handle and work with. The rest of this review is just to help anyone searching amazon reviews for tips on paper for book binding. You ONLY need a matte paper (I find 180gsm works best), and from there you can use clear coats to build a nice protective finish on it. No exceptions. Trust me, I've tried everything, I'm lazy and want the easiest solution. But the only way to get a good protected cover at home, is to spray on a clear coat. No if ands or buts, no type of special paper will save you, and lamination is just more expensive, more work, worse borderline unusable results. Industrially I think the really fancy printing machines just have a way of perfectly coating the paper as it's printed, but us at home on our dinky inkjet printers have to spray them manually. Just how it is. But it at least works and it works well. Which means a lot after trying and failing with so many things and techniques. It's kind of a niche and difficult thing to search for and only really figured this out after a long time searching for solutions and finding stuff on old forums, but even then when knowing what to search I found it impossible to find any real guide or tutorial on what exactly to get or use and how many coats what's the strategy etc. But I'll tell you, the hardest part is keeping dust away while spraying multiple coats outside. That's too say, it's fairly forgiving and you shouldn't worry too much about getting the exact right spray or coating amount or technique. You'll build up a good intuition quite quickly once you give it a go. I always start by coating my covers with a couple coats of the UV resistant krylon stuff for both UV protection and just gets the ball rolling for the next few coats. But you can follow that up with other stuff. Just stay away from fixatives and varnishes unless that's somehow what you want. But it can be confusing when browsing all the options so, yknow. Krylon 1311 and its glossy counterpart are good but are quite fine mist and might require more coats to build up the coating you want. That's why I like krylon colormaxx versions to use in the middle coat to build it up since colormaxx has a lot more volume but less fine mist, and then finishing it with the finer mist stuff for quality. The mod podge sprays also work and have a better balance of spray volume to particle size I find where colormaxx definitely splotches initially. However I don't find that really matters much and mod podge is more expensive so, eh. Also worth noting you can mix and match finishes if you want to get particular, like layering a gloss under a thin layer of matte to soften it type beat. On a clear sunny day they should dry almost instantly, at least enough to put another coat on. Maybe a bit longer for the thicker ones. I find myself needing 4-6 total coats depending on the desired finish. Sounds like a lot but it's a small surface area and like I said they dry quickly so you can do them fast. I just hold the cover up to the light of the sun to look for imperfections in the sheen and if it's a little splotchy, just do another coat. One last thing, since each individual coat is thinner than most pieces of dust, you can most often pick out the dust after waiting for the previous coat to dry as long as you're vigilant. Presuming it's just the odd spec of dirt. and not a sandstorm anyway. That's about it, hopefully this information is useful to others trying to figure this out.

Excellent heavyweight matte paper for large prints
I use this Koala double sided matte paper mainly for art prints and posters, and it’s been great. The 250gsm weight gives it a sturdy, premium feel, and being matte on both sides makes it versatile for designs that need printing front and back. The surface takes dye ink really well — colors look rich and detailed without that shiny glare you get from glossy paper. I also appreciate that it dries quickly, so I can stack prints without worrying about smudges. At 13x19 inches, it’s perfect for bigger projects, and I haven’t had any feed issues with my inkjet printer despite the thickness. Overall, really good quality paper for the price, and I’ll be reordering once I run low.
