This device is by far the most effective device I’ve found to straighten hammer toes. I’ve tried several different devices, all were cheap and ineffective. This device pulls the hammer toe down and straightens it,you can feel the tendon that pulls the toe start to relax. It’s taken decades for the hammer toe to form so I don’t expect it will be fixed in a short time.the only drawback that I’ve found is the flat part of the device reaches out beyond the toes and makes it difficult to wear socks or shoes but the part beyond the toes can be trimmed off. Hopefully the manufacturer will make an adjustment for future models.

I had to trim, for they were too long for my feet. Wear in durability is ok, even after trimming.

Recommended by foot doctor who gave me my first one. Different brands all seem exactly alike, but these are a great price. They do wear out, so buy several. I wear mine one day and then rinse then in soapy water and allow them to dry, which takes a day or more. So, I have many to rotate the stock. Holds my second toe hammer toe and relieves some pain well. Don't make it too tight...it is adjustable.

The slits made where the elastic comes out from the pad are all cut in the wrong place and not even consistent within the package as to placement. All are too far from the end and leave a huge amount at the end of your toes that leaves no padding under the foot where it should be, and couldn’t possibly fit in your shoe. Worthless useless product. Looks like what I received from my physician but definitely not the same.

These are very similar to what my Orthopedist gave me. The pack of 4 had some items that worked well and some that didn't. The strap that you tighten around your toe would not hold well on some of the items. It did well on the others. These are usually good for maybe a week or so of wear if they work. After that the pad on the bottom tends to deform and pull up between the toes and become useless. I got these to help straighten out a hammer toe.

My second toe was moving onto the top of my big toe and my podiatrist gave me one of these in the office. They really work and I don’t even notice I have it on! I was worried about washing it, thinking I would have to do it by hand, but I threw it in the washer with a load and it came out great! I let it air dry. 4 came in the package😊

this item did not fit my foot; therefore, fitting was uncomfortable on my hammer toe.

I purchased one from my podiatrist for $17.95, these are exactly the same, wash well in the washing machine in a lingerie bag, air dry. Fabulous
