Didn’t work as good as I thought they would but no fault of the lens

If you dive or snorkel in blue or green water, deeper than a few feet, you need color-correcting filters such as this Soonsun 3-pack of filters for the GoPro Hero8. These filters work very well, restoring colors, including reds, and making your videos look more natural and less green (green water) or less blue (blue water). These snap on securely, yet easily, and don't fall off. Good value, good performance. Highly recommended!

I took these to snorkel the Great Barrier Reef and was able to captante some pretty accurate and vibrant videos of the experience! I used the medium red for shallow diving and got so much clear color. These stay in very well and are clear and don’t hinder the picture quality.

The package comes with a guide to which filters are used for what types and colors of water. I used the lenses on my dive trips to Florida and they make for stunning, colorful videos. They will tint the footage above the surface, so if you start recording before you're bin just be aware. I wouldn't recommend putting the lens on after getting in the water, or you'll get air bubbles between your case and the lens that might be really annoying during playback. The anti fog inserts are also very helpful. Use them.

Saw a picture and review someone posted with the filter on the waterproof housing. I have no idea how they got the filter on the housing without snapping it. The way the filters are made, they bow in a bit on the sides, but they are completely inflexible . And just lining up the lens to the housing was clear that it wouldn't fit. Returning these and just going to suck it up, spend the extra $30, and buy the filters from GoPro, since I know they will fit and I've already spent hundreds of dollars on the actual GoPro and a ton of other accessories.

Compared to buying from GoPro, the price is excellent. Used the red filter on my GoPro 10 with the actual GoPro case and the fitment was perfect. Filter at 38ft worked great. Color was spectacular. Definitely worth it.

I don't know why they made the straps out of leather. Why not durable nylon? On the very first dive, the filter was off because we were in shallow water and the filter was not needed until deeper in the dive.A few moments later we were deeper and only a portion of the leather strap remained.
