The fit is perfect. Went in just like the original ones. These are much brighter and says it's more economical to use. Good choice.

These tubes seem great so far - very bright, just pop-in and go. Don't know how long they last yet. It has been 8 months and been fine so far. Two small notes about my experience: 1. With one of the tubes I have, it continues to glow weakly after I turn off the light switch. It's fairly dim and goes away after a minute or two. Doesn't bother me. 2. I have two identical (in theory) light fixtures that I have put these tubes in. The fixtures are designed to have TWO fluorescent tubes inside. One larger and one smaller. I decided that I didn't need to put a second tube in because these Feit LED tubes are bright enough with just one. The first fixture I put just the one tube in was fine. It worked perfectly. The second fixture, however, would not work properly unless the second connector had something plugged into it. If I just had the Feit bulb plugged in, the bulb would blink on and off quickly. As soon as I put a bulb into the second connection it works perfectly. Why there would be a difference between two supposedly identical light fixtures is a mystery to me. I checked the ballast and both fixtures seem to have the same unit.

Very happy with this purchase. I was hesitant to buy since some reviewers mentioned they don't fit right. Fortunately, these fit my fixture perfectly. Took just seconds to plug them in. They are brighter than the fluorescent bulbs. More importantly, they are more environmentally friendly and do not contain hazardous chemicals like the fluorescent bulbs. I'm sure everyone knows but just in case, do not throw your old fluorescent bulbs in the trash. They are hazardous waste and can be recycled at HD or Lowes. These bulbs they have a 5 year warranty - see photo for warranty details on box.

I have a kitchen light fixtures that burned out. I don't like the fluorescent bulbs so I took a chance these might work. These didn't require any alterations to the light, I do not do electrical so perfect. I installed both, flipped the switch and no light. I read that it may not work with every light fixture so I was bummed but figured I'd try one more time. One came on but not the other so I took them both out again and tried to get maybe the brighter or bigger of the two to come on. After a few more times taking them out both lights just came on and I've had no problems since then. There is a slight noise but it's not as loud as the fluorescent bulbs, no yellow flicker when turned on, brighter than the old bulbs. For anyone having trouble getting them to work, I would say keep trying a few times before giving up. My first two attempts were complete failures but it did end up working.

Easy plug and play installation. Unplugged old FC12 T9 fluorescent bulb. Plugged in new led replacement bulb. Initial impression is A+. This is for our kitchen ceiling fixture. The light produced duplicates the fluorescent it replaced in intensity, color, and light distribution around our kitchen. The added bonus is this led bulb is instant on. There is no 2-3 second delay as was the norm with the fluorescent tube. As far as energy savings or longevity I cannot comment as this bulb was just installed

When I opened the tubes I initially installed them the same way I had installed the fluorescent tubes they replace. When I first turned the switch on they lit up immediately and there were no ballast issues they warned about in the pamphlet they came with. (Amazon, I suggest you include that in your description) The other thing that I was not prepared for is that there is an "up" side and a "down" side. (Again, Amazon please include this info as well). Light only emits from one side. In my initial installation, the light side pointed up into the ceiling, not down as desired. I had to flip them over to get the light to shine downward, but this opened a new set of challenges. The prongs on the tubes were now pointing up into the ceiling, making it EXTREMELY difficult to plug the power cables in without them forcing the tubes out of the support rings on the fixture. I finally managed to get that done, and they illuminate my office very nicely. The jury is still out as to how long they will stay securely mounted in the fixture. Incidentally, I am a professionally trained electrician, so this should have been a no-brainer, and was much more complicated than it needed to be.... Very frustrating. I called FEIT Customer Service, and informed them about this situation. The person was very pleasant to deal with, apologized for the inconvenience and said they would contact their engineering department. So far, I think this is a good product, but the design needs some tweaking to facilitate a more sensible and simple installation.

Light temperature is certainly pleasant for my home office, and is brighter than the dimming florescent (as shown in photo without diffuser), but I would buy an even brighter LED bulb if it were available.

Item advertised as lasting 22 years. Mine failed in 2 years. Started to become intermittant when turning on. Then failed completely. Suppossed to have 5 year warranty. But Amazon says Product Support has expired. How do I get a Warranty replacement?

They should come with it's own harness and clips. Tried first one didn't work sent back got second one didn't work. Really frustrated with the time wasted.
