Is this celiac friendly (no cross contamination from barley & wheat grass roots)?

For those with Celiac Disease or a serious gluten allergy, it is always best to get approval from your doctor before trying any new supplements—even those which are tested as being gluten free. Below is some additional information for you to review with your doctor: 
 
Our Collagen Greens Beauty is Third Party tested and verified as Gluten Free by NSF. This certification means the product has been tested and verified as having a gluten content of less than 20 ppm (parts per million).
 
Collagen Greens Beauty contains Organic Wheat Grass Juice in the Organic Greens Blend, among other juiced grasses and vegetables. However, since gluten only occurs in the grains (i.e., seeds) –  and not the grass – we are able to test and label the finished product as Gluten Free. 
 
Gluten containing grains such as wheat, barley and rye (the so-called "prohibited grains") are not included in any of our dietary supplements; in the case of cereal grasses (in our Raw Organic Meal, for example), they utilize the grasses (not the grain), which are cut early before gluten is formed. Our products that are exposed to or derived from a "prohibited grain" have specifically been tested for gluten content and results have confirmed that they meet the FDA's proposed criteria for such labeling. 
 
While the label states that the product is manufactured in a facility that also processes wheat, there are no gluten-containing ingredients in this formula – or any of our formulas which are labelled as Gluten Free. We only feel comfortable labeling a product as Gluten Free after verifying these test results and receiving proper documentation for such a claim.
