472 Turquoise Crush - Loreal Paris Voluminous Color Creations Mascara

i am 57 and love this color. it looks neon turquoise when you pull the wand out - uh oh!! But it goes on just the right amount of bright and volumizes my lashes. The color is kind of hard to explain. Looking in the mirror I'd say it looks l have thick lashes (this is what you want right there. Looks like I put my normal mascara on because my lashes are thick) with brightish teal eye liner, which looks good. if I lean in close, I can see that all of my lashes are that teal color. It's not like I have shocking, all over turquoise lashes. I thought I would need black underneath. Well I tried that for the heck of it, and black on first practically made the blue not even evident when I put that coat on afterwards . Then I could see black on my blue wand and thought that's not good. Don't want to pollute the blue so won't do that again. No need. I could have let the black dry first, but I didn't think the blue would go on to dried on lashes. Won't be trying that. Have some fun and try this mascara.

I pictured it to be just a little darker, but it definitely is true turquoise... just like the stone! It is very easy to apply and holds up all day. I have blue eyes and wanted something to make my eyes pop just a little... and it definitely works! I can see this color working well for people with blue, brown, or hazel eyes.I use it first and then put brown mascara over it. The brown tones it down a lot, but the blue is noticeable though. It almost "shimmers." It makes my eyes look more awake and bigger, in my opinion. Definitely worth a try if you're looking for something other than your standard brown/black mascara!

It is a good mascara and the colors are right out there. I purchased it for the turquoise color to enhance my blue eyes and was very pleased to see that it was an excellent mascara as well. It didn't clump and made my lashes look fuller.I put the color part on the back of my upper lashes and then put brown or black on the front so it softens the color and still makes my eyes pop. On my lower lashes I first very lightly brush it closer to my eye and also very lightly add the brown or black..

A fun color that I get lots of compliments on.I bought to match a couple of tops I wear (turquoise, teal, bright green). Well, wearing this mascara was fun, but not entirely flattering or professional. How I solved that problem is: I wear the 472 color at my lash roots kind of heavy (two coats), then on the tips I lightly touch with black. I get the lash line color I want with the pop I need to keep my eyes from looking too light.It's called a sable effect. You gotta try it. I do the same with purple and green mascaras. Royal blue stands on its own without tipping.

I was really expecting a darker turquoise color. This color applies to my dark eyelashes as more of a bright blue. MUCH brighter/lighter than the color indicated on the cardboard background of the packaging. Still, the color is fun, I just have not used it nearly as much as I would have if it was closer to the shade on the packaging. In the photos, I couldn't even get the lighting to show the true shade. It is brighter than in the pictures!

BEAUTIFUL! I am absolutely in love with the vibrancy and color of this mascara. Such a pretty almost sky blue. For me, I put it on once in the morning before I leave and my eyes are popping all day, never hurts to reapply it though. Works especially well with my green eyes. I'm completely in love. Definitely plan on buying more and probably some in different colors too. If you're debating buying this, I would say it is a must have. Also, way better than Maybelline's Great Lash Teal Appeal. I bought both to see which I liked more and the choice is very clear.

I expected to love this mascara, but it was just ok. The color is pretty light (although accurate) and I feel like it doesn't really hold the curl in my lashes like black mascara does. I need to curl my lashes or they stick straight down. The only time I wear it is if I put a layer over my black mascara to give it some depth/hint of color. I have dark lashes though and when I put it on my blonde daughter as part of her costume makeup, it looked awesome (mind you, she's 5 and I didn't curl her lashes)!
