Best water workout ever!
I wanted to wait to post this review until I received and used this totally awesome product. I received my package in late March. It came securely packed and arrived very quickly after my order was placed. I swim laps at the YMCA and have used this waterproof MP3 player everyday for 1hr. I had to ask my daughter to download my music because I simply could not figure out how to do it because I use Apple Music as my primary music source. Once my music was downloaded, I went swimming. OMG! the joy I have in the pool now. My workout is so amazing now that I can listen to my music while in the pool. The sound is great! The battery life is absolutely ridiculous on this thing. I am just needing to recharge it. Everyone in the pool wants one now. Thank you for an awesome product.

Great Option for Lap Swimming
I know of no better product for lap swimming. I've tried all the other options and they were inadequate.Tayogo has upped their product game as well from previous versions. A much better charging cord, a more robust design, and better software.

FOUR STARS, A waterproof MP3 player as an alternative to a bluetooth headset.
I wear these every day, even though I don't swim. As an avid Audiobook listener, I have gone through dozens of different models, trying to find one that would satisfy my all day needs, and this one has come the closest. The box, which is frustration-free and easily opened, contains the following;1 User Manual1 USB to Female cable2 pairs of triple flanged earbuds for swimming or water conditions4 different sized, standard earbuds for everyday use.The user's manual is illustrated and gives clear instructions on how to use the MP3 player. Although it seems fairly straightforward, I would suggest taking a few minutes to go over the specifics. There have been multiple posts I have seen where people were unable to change from Shuffle to Ordered Playing (hold down the Volume - down button), and others who are unable to switch to the radio function (hold down the Volume + up button). I would never have been able to figure it out without the manual. The USB to female cable is useful if you are unable to easily access your USB port, or are afraid of bending the mp3 player while having it plugged into your computer. The flanged earbuds come in two sizes. I would suggest trying both on in a controlled environment, such as a shower, to get the proper fit. It actually seals well enough to double as a set of earplugs, if you need them to block out a loud environment. The standard earbuds are comfortable enough, but I usually just leave the flanged set on.The MP3 player itself seems well constructed, considering the price. The earbud cables could be a bit thicker, but if you always take it off by holding the band, it should be fine. The buttons are marked and easy to use if you are looking right at them. I've noticed more difficulty if they are on the back of your head. It is easy to accidently let go of the Fast Forward button and skip tracks by mistake. The Tayogo remembers the position of the last track you listened to, unless you accidently skip to the next one. A small led indicator lets you know the players status, blinking blue when player, blinking red when charging, or a solid blue if fully charged.PROS:Waterproof. You can exercise, swim, and even shower without interrupting your listening. I don't swim, but I use it in the shower everyday without any problems.Long lasting battery. I can listen throughout the day without needing to charge the device. It also charges very quickly. I was using a Bluetooth headset that only lasted 3 - 4 hours. This has lasted 7+.Stealthy. If you have long hair or are wearing a hoodie, this thing is practically invisible. No tangled wires. I have tossed three or four different mp3 players when their headphone port became damaged in my pocket These don't have the same issue.Light. These are light enough that I stop noticing their weight after the first ten minutes or so.CONS:Earphone wire design. The earphone wires haven't given me any problems, unlike some of the other reviewers, but I make sure to only put them on and take them off while holding the band itself. I could see how a few accidental tugs would damage them.Tightness. For a tall person, I tend to fit into small hats. Despite this, I was surprised at how tight the band initially fit around the back of my head. I began to get a headache after wearing it for more than an hour or so. I lightly bent back the bows, and down it fits securely without feeling like a vice. In fact, it is practically unnoticeable. now.FF/RW Buttons. It is difficult to locate the FF or RW buttons by touch alone. It is even more problematic to keep them pressed without accidently skipping the track. This might not be a problem for the average music listener, but it can be frustrating when you have a single filed audiobook that is nine hours long. All in all, I would give this product four stars. The only real dings were the button design and the flimsily designed wires. Other than those issues, I would definitely recommend the device.

New Updated Review
Update 3/5/25: Tayogo contacted me and made it right. I can now go back to saying this is a great buy.Update 2/5/25: after less than a year, the sound breaks up on one side. If I move the wire by where it attaches to the solid neck piece the sound cuts out. When swimming, the wire moves from the movement of the water, so I lose the audio on that side. This renders them unusable and therefore useless.UPDATE: After my original review, Tayogo contacted me to discuss the product. Turns out the W18 is the latest model. Even though there’s no indication on the box that it does have FM functionality, it does in fact have an FM mode.As for swimming with them, they work nicely once you find the correct earbud. The ones that were attached to the headphones when I first opened the package didn’t fit well. One of the additional ones did. This made them great for lap swimming with great sound.Obviously when swimming, you have to use the MP3 mode as Bluetooth and FM don’t work in the water. That said, with the ability to have 1000’s of songs stored, means there’s plenty of music to listen to. The shuffle mode is nice so you’re getting a new mix every time you use them. Now that I’ve tried this model I’m happy with them. Just make sure you pick the model you want between the W-16 and the W-18.Old Review: Video says there’s an FM mode, but no where does it say it on the box. It also says 2nd Generation. Tayogo makes a version that says it’s 3rd generation. It’s the same price as this 2nd generation.Strange thing is, the “sold by” company is Tayogo. The 3rd generation version is sold by another company.Didn’t even open the box since it says 2nd generation. Since they’re the same price, make sure you’re getting the most recent model.
