Glorious Angels Coloring Book (Dover Religious Coloring Book)

This was a disappointment! I felt like these were pictures that the nun's gave us to color in Catholic grade school. No detail or depth. They looked stiff an unnatural. I even ordered a second for my mother-in-law for Xmas and I'm too ashamed to give it to her like I think she couldn't handle anything more difficult. This is NOT an adult coloring book! My best friend ordered 3 books and they were the same! If you want an adult book donot order from Dover Coloring!

I cannot describe the beautiful pictures of Angels in this book! Can't wait to start. The only drawback is that the pictures are two-sided. I will have to get a second copy just to have the other pictures to look at when completed. I guess this is a good problem for the artist, John Green! So let me stop so I can now order than second copy!

Beautiful book. This one has two sided pages so I will use pencils maybe gel pens so no bleed through. The pictures really are beautiful! I will enjoy this book.

The Glorious Angels Coloring Book (Dover Coloring Books) by John Green contain images such as what looks like a Cupid’s angel with one of their arrows (Cupid The God of Love). There are also other angel images such as an image of a man wresting with an angel (Jacob Wrestling With An Angel), Sleeping Angel,The Angel Anahita, Cathelel Angel of the Garden. What I also like is that these images are written for the person who colors the images to help see what the author of coloring book meant to illustrate.

By the photo on the cover I thought all the images would be as nice, but I only liked two in the book as the other's are too childlike and seem to be should be in an old fashioned children's religious coloring book. I also do not like how the images are printed on both sides of the pages. And lastly the paper quality is strange. I have not colored any pages as I am thinking of returning it- but since it was less than $4 the return shipping may not be worth the trouble. I don't think I will be ordering from this series again.

I bought this as a gift for a friend and she loves it! Like all of Dover's books, the quality is unsurpassed. The paper is very good, printing excellent and the artwork terrific. I scrolled through this book before I sent it off and was very impressed. Any fan of angels or just wonderful artwork would enjoy this book. As a matter of fact, I am re-ordering it for myself now. You can never go wrong with Dover Publications....

I like the angel coloring books. The pictures are beautiful and the lines are great. You can shade and blend and embellish. The texture of the pages are great for gel pens and pencils and gelly roll pens.

Purchased as a gift for my grandchild, it’s been perfect for them.

Bought for a friend who has health problems, and who loves Angels. She was thrilled, having just read an article on adult colouring therapy she said she'd wondered where she could get a colouring book for herself. Lovely pictures, good quality.

I bought this for a friend who wanted to try colouring and who loves angels. They aren't my thing but she really loves this book. The pictures are really nice and if angels are your thing, you will love it as much as she does.

Looks a good book to colour as there are Male Angels too. But Angels are Genderless! Adults who love Colouring in think the child will love it too! A Birthday gift - late September
