Wasn't aware of how much TROUBLE I'd have hooking up the pump to our shop compressor.Metric flare fittings OUT and made a major project out of trying to get the thing plumbed to our unit.Left a phone message with the vendor (in So Cal) and never had so much as a return effort.Would have appreciated a reply even if it was to indicate that we were "on our own".Finally managed to get it "plugged in" after two weeks of parts shopping, $120 in fittings & pipe, and days of R&D and in house fabrication.Just got it started today. Seems to be working but makes some knocking noises.Guess we'll have to wait and see.Wouldn't recommend it unless its a direct replacement of the same unit or similar with the same fittings.

Don't say I didn't warn you!
I won't trash the seller of this product, because I actually bought mine from another vendor through another popular sales channel. Right now, I happened to be on Amazon, looking for a replacement pump and noticed this piece of garbage for sale. I never really write reviews, but I feel I owe it to others to warn them to keep as far away as possible.I have to admit being suckered into buying it. The price was great, free shipping and it "looked" great. Oh if only I'd remembered the old adage: "If something seems too good to be true"....As others have indicated, it is IMPOSSIBLE to find a metric fitting for it, but quite honestly, even if you could, you'd never find a "transitional" fitting to get it switched over to American pipe sizes. After going back and forth with numerous email from my vendor who could care less about the problem (and never acknowledged the metric issue), I wound up buying a 3/4" die and re-threading it myself. After getting it up and running, I was thrilled. That lasted about 3 or 4 weeks. After that I noticed tiny droplets of oil on objects that were on either side of the compressor. That only got worse, and as of now, I had to put a couple of pieces of 4x8 plywood on either side of the compressor to keep the surrounding area clean. I also have to add oil to the pump on a weekly basis. Not even worthy of a boat anchor.

Bad company
Not sure who gave it 5 stars, must have been someone from there company. Metric flare output is impossible to find a fitting for. I ended up re-threading it. Once I got it going, it produced about 3 cfm. When I contacted the company they said that was not possible and hung up on me :)

POS
Same problem, metric flare fittings not available. Makes for a pretty boat anchor though. That it can handle. A POS indeed.
