Cheaper than hiring a carer
This watch has been a Job and life saver literally.I had tried everything, from sad lights to the sonic bomb alarm clock. In desperation I even put cutlery in a saucepan along with the sonic bomb vibrating pad and placed this next to my bed, this woke my neighbours, but not me.Now I simply put on my watch at bedtime, check the connection to the app, check the battery level and I can go to sleep without the worry of not waking. The watch seems like an expense but is far cheaper than hiring someone to come and wake me for work everyday.

Broken after less than a year
Great item when it worked, but i've barely used the thing and its broken after a few months. The shock feature, which is the entire point of the device, has stopped working. Avoid if you want something you can use long term, especially as there is no way of returning after anything over a month after purchase.

Snazzy piece of kit!
Purchased initially as part of a streaming / recording setup where viewers can trigger the device in response to certain actions. The device itself is capable of delivering quite the pinch at times, though nothing that'll have you in tears, so I can certainly see its practical applications for helping break habits,Overall quite the nice piece of kit, though as a software developer I can't help but wish they had a more open API

Finally an alarm that gets me up.
I'm the god awful mix of being both a really heavy sleeper and also being deaf so I've always had a problem with waking up in the morning. I've tried loads of products before this and none of them are this reliable at getting me out of bed.Up to now I'd been using the Sonic Bomb alarm with vibration pad and a sunrise simulation alarm along with sleeping with a hearing aid in. I knew I had to stop with this however after I came down with a pretty bad ear infection so went looking for something new and found this. 1 week in and I can happily say that for me it works. The zaps start off really quite weak but quickly get more than strong enough. At 100% it's a bit too much for me and I'm someone that handles pain very well. I've got it set to 60% for none work days and 80% for work days but I've not missed a 60% one yet, nevermind the 80%.I've given 5 stars because for my intended purpose for it, it works like a charm but there are some cons. Apparently it beeps, it might beep outside my audible frequency but I don't hear it. I'd like it to have an adjustment on the tone, along with being louder. It vibrates but very weakly. Up to now the vibrations have not woke me up, it's always the shock but that's what I bought it for. The app is bloated and a bit messy. Thankfully the alarm stuff is easy enough to get to so I don't have to spend too long in the app. I do recognise that a lot of the bloat is for the Pavlovian conditioning that I'm not interested in though. Turning it off by using the watch tap function is not very reliable but I suppose that's a good thing as well as a bad one. It would also be nice if there were clear visible indicators as to what stage the band is in ie, snooze or off, sometimes I want to snooze but I have no idea if I've set it off or to snooze, again this could be seen as a good thing as it gets you out of bed to check. From experience I'd say check before you go to the toilet... take my word on that one. Cost, £110 is a lot however you cut it.Overall I am very happy with it even though I have highlighted quite a few issues with it above. It's not a perfect all round product but for my needs it is indeed perfect.Editing after a few months of use.It seems that it has lost some of its strength rather quickly. I now have to have it set on 100% strength but it is still working for now.

Only worked for a couple of months
This was bought for my grandson when he started a new job and had to be up early. The Zap has stopped working and although I have messaged the supplier, I have had nothing back.
