Crushed Italian Calabrian Chili Peppers, 10 ounce

I previously bought the whole peppers so I decided to try these, the crushed peppers. I prefer these because I can spread them on toast with cheese. A little more oily than I would prefer, but that is fine. I love the flavor and they have just the right amount of spice.

I'll be the first to admit it - I spend a little too much time watching Food Network. Seems like in the past few years practically everyone has started using Calabrian chiles in their dishes for a little pop of heat, and as a foodie, I wanted to see what the big deal was, and at the time these were just not available locally. My wife and I started using these in various dishes, replacing more conventional sources of heat, with great success. These chiles are spicy, but not ridiculously hot. Also, a bit of this mixed into mayonnaise creates an entirely new experience on sandwiches or burgers. Overall, 10/10 - will 100% buy these again.

This is rich from the oil and hot. I have eaten it a number of ways, including directly on fettuccine noodles. It has a nice chewy texture. It's probably too hot for most people to eat straight, but it mixes well with red sauce.

This product is not commonly found in grocery stores but fortunately Amazon provides it. It is slightly hotter than an jalapeño (seeds and veins included) but less ascetic and much more flavorful. I use it to top pizza, my favorite food. Unless you can eat habenaro peppers, I suggest using this very sparingly if you don't want to sample it before using it. The flavor it adds is far different than any other pepper and it is expensive, but considering a jar can handled tens of my pizzas, I'm content with the price.

Delicious!! Was skeptical of shipping a glass jar but this arrived fine surrounded by layers of bubble-wrap. Really nice balance of spice and flavor, perfect for sandwiches, pizza or whatever you want! Gives an excellent kick

First off I’m very grateful that the company that sent this wrapped it so well so that it wouldn’t break, because it is glass. They did such a good job wrapping it. This stuff is so delicious. I can eat this every day! Buy it. You definitely won’t regret it.

There’s no way this product has 60 calories and no grams of fat for the entire jar. It’s soaked in oil and while it’s good, they are straight up lying with the nutritional facts.
