Stubby Jr Antenna Compatible with GMC Canyon 2015-2024 | 2 inches | Short Antenna Replacement | Made in the USA

Works great and looks good! Much better than the tall factory antenna. There are a few slight issues but nothing major (see below). Pros: * Easy to install * Looks Great * No Loss of Radio Reception (sort of, see cons) Cons: * Loss of signal reception on a few radio stations (very weak station stations) There was a couple, roughly only 2 or 3 radio stations, that I lost all signal from but those radio stations were very static ridden, even with the factory antenna. I mainly listen to satellite radio anyway but for the radio stations that have good signal strength, I noticed there was actually less static and a more clear sound with this antenna compared to the factory one, satellite radio was unaffected. Definitely would buy again!

I only had 2-1/4 inches of garage-door clearance for the roof-mounted antenna mast on my 2019 GMC Canyon PU. This 2" mast fit the bill and looks better than the original. No effect on Sirius-XM, which is what I mostly listen to, and doesn't seem to affect AM stations. It DOES seem to reduce clear FM reception and cuts down on the FM stations that can be received. That's not a problem for me, but noted. It was delivered the next day and took 20 seconds to unscrew the old 7" OEM mast and screw in the new one. I tucked the old mast in the glove box just in case.

I like this antenna. I noticed a slight change in reception not drastic like others noted. It only really affected a weak signal station. A.M. stations even came through fine. I'll take that over the stock antenna on my '16 GMC Canyon which made the truck look like a giant remote control truck. It looks a lot better with the Stubby Jr. And I won't have to worry about lower clearances. I was initially concerned with some of the reviews I read indicating a big loss of signal but luckily that was not the case for me. I keep the stock antenna in the glove compartment in case it becomes an issue and I need to swap it out. Perhaps since the Canyon antenna is on the roof it gets better reception than on other vehicles. All I can say is it works great for me. If I could I would rate it more like a 4.5 so consider this rating rounded up. The slight reception loss isn't a tremendous issue but does need to be acknowledged. The aesthetics are worth that small sacrifice to me. I recommend this antenna. Your mileage may vary in regards to reception.

Well made, looks much better than the stock antenna. Fit my 2024 GMC Canyon perfectly. Doesn’t impact Sirius reception, I don’t really use FM radio but where I live it still works good.

This little antenna looks much better than the OEM antenna and I can go through the car wash without having to remove it. It works just fine except reception fades a little sooner than the OEM antenna. One of my favorite FM stations would fade out around 100 miles from the station and the Stubby Jr Antenna fades out around 80 miles from the station. Not a deal breaker as I normally listen to my flash drive anyway. .

Their antennas are made in the USA! Spend the couple of extra bucks and get a Made in USA product. I was able to work with their customer service to do a no-cost exchange of the 2" to the 4" and it made all the difference. I'd like to say that their customer service alone was worth spending the extra for, but the product quality is much better than I've seen from non-USA made versions. I've tried both kinds. My advice is to get the 4" if you can make do, and I had to do measuring to make sure it would work getting into a parking garage at the hospital I go to, and it worked out with the 4" model. The 2" gave me extra wiggle room, but did come at a cost of reduced reception.

So far, so good. Works perfectly as described. No issues so far. Haven't noticed a difference in reception at all. Although I do keep the original antenna in the truck in case I do start getting bad reception somewhere. The smaller antenna looks better, and you can move into the garage without hitting or damaging your vehicle. Good buy!
