Perfect.
As the other review said, they are a bit of a pain to clean. What I did is, after my birds had their babies (seriously, 6 baby finches is like having your own siren alarm system), I set the nest outside in the hot NC sun for a few days, and the fecal wall paper came right off. Its going back into the aviary just as soon as mom and pops get a break.

My finches love it
My finches immediately jumped in it and made a nest. I think they like how deep it is. They can snuggle down in there and stay hidden.

This is (too?) big for finches
There are two nests available here, and they look pretty much the same. This is the larger nest, more suitable for lovebirds or parrotlets than the finches I picked this up for. It'll work for smaller birds, but it might be bigger than they need. The nest is great, it's just a little larger than you might expect.

I ordered this because the same one is in the finch cage at petsmart. It's much cheaper to buy online than from petsmart.

Packaging caused item to be destroyed.
Arrived crushed and broken. Too minimal a purchase for return so went in the trash. Not happy.

MY FINCHES LOVE THESE NESTS. THEY'RE DIFFICULT TO CLEAN, BUT MY FINCHES ARE HAPPY IN THEM. THEY ALSO SEEM TO BE HOLDING UP WELL.

Great nest! Bought this exact best twice already
Great nest. My 2 zebra finches love it! It is big enough for the two of them & they have recently laid a clutch of eggs as well. I recommend this nest & bought it again (my finches poop on the outer edge of their nest (inside) so that is why it was bought again.
