It was my wife that told me about Zara and how much mor she likes it. She said its a better H&M. I've never heart from Zara before and that why I bought this book.

The book is badly printed and every word that contain either “fi” of “fl” is missing those letters.

A must-read for anyone interested in retail, fashion merchandising and distribution
A detailed and personal account of Amancio Ortega. Excellent portrayal of the Zara and Inditex business model to general readership and business students/graduates

Lots of fluff little stuff
A great way to write a book about a subject and kind of talk about it.She praises the founder with the drive and passion of people that put on tights for comic-con but get the costume wrong. This book is arrogant and rambling, go to a the library for this one and dedicate 20 minutes.

Great insights on the business but not a biography.
It is a highly insightful book on a fantastic business, Inditex and a superb operator, Amancio Ortega. I could not put down the book once I started reading. If you like Made In American by Sam Walton, you will also like this book. The author is Covadonga O'Shea, editor-in-chief of Telva, one of the most important Spanish fashion magazines for women about fashion trends and lifestyle. So she knows fashion well, and thus, her views in the book are insightful. The book is not a biography. And it's very light on the details of Ortega. The man does not share much about history or childhood, or the early days of Inditex. The book is about the author's insightful perspectives of Inditex and Ortega, based on interviews with Ortega, senior management, and other employees. The negative is that Ortega is painted as almost too perfect, or god-like. There is almost nothing negative about him.

Missing Letters Throughout Print
This is not a review of a the contents of the book, which I enjoyed. This is a review of the printing of the book. The letter "f" was missing throughout the book.

Superficial Biography.
There is no indepth understanding of how Ortega or Zara works. The authors labours to provide us with intimate trivia about the man and focuses little on important aspects of the Inditex business. It was a waste of my money and I would not recommend this book.
