Hypoallergenic Sterling Silver Purple Striped Heart Stud Earrings for Kids (Nickel Free)

I got these (and several other sets from Penny and Piper) for my 12 yo daughter and we love them. They are a great size for smaller ears, safe and easy for her to put in and take out herself, and fun designs. I like that the designs are more modest, but there are decent choices for girls that want something that is not baby-ish, but also not too grown. Wish then included more styles. They're also a reasonable price, knowing that she might lose them. I also like that the sales page includes images which display the earrings on a model so you can better judge the size. They come packaged in a nice, colorful box that works perfectly in a small gift bag without any additional wrapping necessary.

These heart earrings are super cute! I only gave 3 stars because one of them came imperfect, as seen in my photo. I ordered a replacement pair so I'll update this after it's delivered. Some people are reviewing them as too small. They are small, but they're for kids so they should be small. I bought them as a birthday present for my 7 year old niece. I love the style, it's not too little kid that she'll outgrow quickly. I can see her wearing them into her teens.

Beware!!! I thought these earrings were a nice size and thought the backs would be beneficial and soft. Needless to say that was not the case. As can be seen in the picture, my child has a wound where the earring back has injured her ear. Her ears have not been neglected and I can’t believe this happened so quickly.
