French Press Coffee Maker with 4 Part Superior Filtration 600 ML, Stainless Steel, (Black)

Nice product. Easy to use and get the decoction

This is absolutely spot-on as described and what a French press should be like. Glass beaker is of great quality (Thick glass, great finish, good spout design), beaker is held in place excellently by a stainless steel holding frame, handle is good (I do wish the handle was a bit a bigger or easier to hold somehow), lid and plunger work absolutely great. Not only I was able to brew great coffee using the French Press, I was able to easily froth milk using it (You push and pull the plunger 20-30 times and you get more froth than the milk you poured in, basically doubling the milk in the form of milk+froth). It is super easy to clean too using just a single drop of liquid soap. Now I don't know what will become of this with daily use for a long period of time but in the short time I have used it it has been great. I do have a few issues though - - 1 of the 2 most important features of a French press is its mesh filters which get used a lot even if you are just drinking coffee once a day. For the price this French press costs, it should have come with at least 1 set of spare mesh filters like other similarly priced high quality French presses on Amazon.in do. The box even has a card with a link for a set of free spare mesh filters but the link doesn't work and the company says the offer isn't active yet. - The beaker should have had exact quantity markings so you have a more exact idea of how many mLs you have poured in. - The press doesn't come with any sort of manual at all, so you don't know how to unscrew its filter mechanism or how to replace the glass beaker in case it breaks. When I mailed about it to the company, I got a reply saying that I should just search through their YouTube channel as they have many tutorials on there which was definitely an inconvenience that was escalated by the fact that I had to find the video I was looking for from a plethora of other poorly titled videos about other products and stuff. I was to find the video tutorial on how to unscrew the filter mechanism, but what should have taken me 10-20 seconds to learn from a few lines and 1-2 photos on a piece of paper included inside the box took me 10+ minutes to find. Plus, I didn't find any video on how to replace the glass beaker so it seems they just don't have one, even thought they sell replacement beakers separately. Edit : The French press I got had its beaker damaged within a few days of use. I poured hot water in it and was closing the lid when a small part of the glass just chipped off. Amazon replaced it easily but still, something to consider, the glass shouldn't have broken so easily. Also, the replacement I got doesn't have the beaker properly aligned. Instead of the spout of the beaker being 180° from the handle, it's actually 100~° which is kinda annoying (Amazon executive told me I can get a refund and then rebuy the product but I bought it for 1350 on a lightning deal while it's currently at its usual price of 1499. So, whatever, I'll just use it as it is). Maybe I'll unscrew the beaker from the housing if it becomes too annoying and align it properly like it's supposed to be. Also, the replacement I got had a free filter (only one though, not a proper pair), a measuring spoon and I think a cleaning tool which is great because the original one I got didn't had that stuff.

Awesome product..metal filter....Makes perfect coffee just the way I like it. A must buy for all coffee lovers...

Overall a good product.

So I had been using a moka pot for more than 5+ years. And while only it's handle broke, I felt the need to perhaps try a different brew of coffee this time around. I had been eyeing many a French press but this one by Insta Cuppa really got my attention with the price & customer service, and of course the product itself. I originally wanted to purchase the copper one but read of few reviews of the colour chipping so instead opted for the steel one, which is also quite stylish, albiet a little generic looking. Now, as for the product, it's been working marvellous for me. The glass is borosilicate and has stood the hot water each time. Of course it's still glass & needs to be handled with care than you would with, say an entirely stainless steel body. I have no issues with that whatsoever since the glass body is the whole product's point of attraction for me. The handle is sturdy, everything is well built. The extra mesh filters & cleaning sponge are added benefits which I'm thankful for. The lid however could have been built to close. It just sits on top which makes me feel it might slip off easily, it doesn't shut or seal off completely. I'm not sure why it's been made that way, is it a fault or part of the process, I'll never know. The spout is perfect, pours the liquid easily and precisely. Overall the looks cute. Coming to the most important and obvious part of this French press, the quality of the coffee brewed. For me, the coffee turned out very nice, better than I had imagined. With a moka pot the brew is more robust and strong with a punch. Don't get me wrong, with the French press, it's strong too but with a more smoother taste profile. The notes are more nuanced and layered. Wow apparently after using the French press for 2+ months I'm a coffee expert, judging from my choice of words! Jokes apart, the resulting brew is more flavourful, smooth and layered in taste which I found quite lovely. Even when I tried the same coffee grinds for the moka pot and French press, the end results tasted different. And of course, it's much quicker than a moka pot. As mentioned in other reviews, I contacted the Insta Cuppa team using the coupon inside and they shipped me a sleeve free of any cost. So that's the added bonus. I brewed green tea in this as well as frothed milk (plant based), both worked perfectly. The tea particles(and coffee too) get stuck in the mesh at times so that's a little annoying but a good thorough rinse cleanes them out well. All in all, I'll rate this product 10/10. With good care and handling, this should last for quite sometime. I'm very happy with my purchase.

Great product. Recommend it. The black round top is a bit rough, apart from that everything is nicely finished.

Received this item today... haven't used it yet but the service this guy is providing in this price range is amazing, it feels like you are valued for buying their product. The French press itself gives a luxury look with classic finish

Second purchase of this French Press. I think everyone has written good things about this product, and they are all true. I understand that French Presses need to have lids that need to be held down as opposed to being vacuumed shut while pouring, but that is still an ease of usage I wish this one had. I think this is one of the most customer-centric coffee brands on Amazon. They have good products and are consistent with keeping their replacements in stock. I hope the copper paint on my new french press does not chip. I had purchased a steel framed one 2 years ago and it is still working well and looking beautiful. The mesh wires do not catch rust or dust if you clean regularly. Brands like these make me proud of supporting Indian start ups! Edit after two days of usage: The copper paint has started to chip, exactly as I was afraid it would. There are only very small chips on the lid of the machine (attaching picture) but I can foresee large chunks of paint peeling off. Never had this issue with the silver/steel stand. I did not even use it harshly or clean it with any abrasive substance or even leave water on the surface. A little disappointed. Subtracting 2 stars for the same.
