As so many others have said, it's a lovely and useful gift (for self or others). I gave this as a gift to my elderly mother, a life-long avid reader and volunteer librarian with books and bookmarks galore. Although questioning how nice this could actually be for such a nominal cost, I was pleasantly surprised. In a quality-jewelry type box, and at first glance seeming like gold or other fine metal. But the proof is in the using and it works, and is durable enough to last, so it seems. And it's novel. Best of all, Mom was genuinely delighted when she received this, the best indicator of all for me, a nice gift.

A bit of a pricy item to buy but it is very pretty and just like the image. Down side is that is slides a lot out of the book, because its light weight you’ll have to really wedge it a little bit hard into the crevices of each page so it doesn’t slip out. Leaf is roughly the same size as a tablespoon.
