I’ve been using Purina Pro Plan Large Breed Dry Puppy Food for a while now, and my Huskies absolutely love it! The Chicken and Rice Formula is perfect for keeping her energized, and they can’t get enough of it. One thing I’ve noticed is that it helps keep their stool firm. No more dealing with runny stool, which is a huge plus! It’s great to see a brand that not only keeps my dog’s digestive system happy but also supports overall health. The 34 lb. bag on Amazon is a real steal. In stores, the same size is way more expensive, so this is definitely the best value. Plus, my dogs have shiny coats and don’t have that “doggy” smell, which is a big win! The kibble size is also perfect for large breeds like my Husky – not too big, not too small. It’s a great all-around choice for anyone with a growing puppy, and I highly recommend it!

We just got our little giant schnauzer puppy about 2 months ago and she has been growing like crazy! So far feeding her Purina Pro Plan has gone really well, she absolutely loves the taste of the food and it is super easy for her to digest as well! Each time we go to the vet they always recommend pro plan and are excited to know she is eating pro plan because she is at her correct weight, her coat is nice and shinny, her teeth look great and she is doing really well on this food. I will defiantly say we plan to keep her on pro plan forever!

My big little guy loves this stuff. I've tried other puppy chows but came right back to this one. He gobbles it down and, pardon me, but his poops look good and firm. Grade A.

We use Purina Pro Plan products for our 3 dogs and 2 cats. We dont do boutique food. Only science-backed brands. Our puppy eats Purina Pro Plan puppy kibble but I recently added this large breed option to offer more variety and to make sure she is getting a large breed formula which I had been remiss on. She is an American/field lab. Large and lanky. Lovely coat, bright eyes, nice form. Silly, sweet, energetic. She is just over a year old now, and will be on puppy food for the most part for about another year. She doest love this as much as another one we get for her but she likes it when mixed together. And really she is a weird little eater (prefers to pick at her food) so I think she likes it just fine, but she likes her usual shredded option more.

I work in k-9 rescue and we keep our shelves stocked with Purina Pro-Plan. It’s a great food without being too expensive!

I have a monthly subscription for this dog food! My dog loves it, she’s an irish wolfhound/great dane mix. She has been on this since she was a puppy (she’s 1 year 3 months now) and no issues at all! The vet said shes perfect weight, joints and everything look awesome. I’m going to keep on this food until i have to switch to adult! I recommend this for any large breed dog!

First of all, I don't know if it's this formula of kibbles or my dog's genetics, or maybe a bit of both... My dog has grown up to be ernourmous. Far above the average size for her age, (60lbs at 8 months old). I've seen how her siblings are doing, and mine's significantly bigger than them. It's not like she's fat, either. Her legs are just so tall for her age. My dog loves eating this, so there's that. No issue whatsoever from day 1 feeding this formula to her. I've tried a couple other brands once in awhile but she will always prefer this over the others. So all in all, I guess it's good food for her. Fairly happy with feeding this in the past 6 months or so.

I love that I can order it on Amazon and have it delivered within a day—super convenient when I’m running low on food. This was the brand our vet recommended, and I can see why. It has all the essential nutrients a growing puppy needs, and my dog has been doing so well on it. His coat is silky smooth and shiny, and his digestion has been great—poops are solid and small, which is a big deal for a larger breed! He loves the taste too, which makes feeding time easy. I feel confident knowing I’m giving him a food that keeps him healthy and happy. Definitely sticking with this!

Our puppy has some food allergies, but we're not quite sure what he's allergic to. I tried 2 different puppy foods that didn't agree with him. He is fine on this food and seems to love it. No allergies - yay!
