Good product but no good for 1000ltr tank...prob okay for couple thousand ltr ....I have in 1000lt and scale is right off but if you mark dial when tank full & when empty you can use it....

Perfect for the job (100ltr water butt). Lost the thread into the body when shortening the length but managed to elongate the hole and retrieve it successfully. Would recommend.

I actually returned this. It is a 2 inch thread as advertised, but I needed a 1.5 inch thread. Managed to find alternative make that had 1.5inch thread and you could adjust the gauge markings to adjust where zero was for my tank which was only 1.4m high/deep. However, if you need a 2inch thread and non adjustable gauge marking this gauge seems ok.

Had other types but this one did exactly what I needed it for ..installed in my kerosene tank. Easy to fit and adjust, I expect could be used in many different types of tanks. Seems to be well designed ..installed a few months not and all good ..

The instructions are in french and even when translated are poor. The gauge is not linear and is very difficult to calibrate. If great care is not taken in adjusting the cord it will disappear into the spool and be lost. After drilling the access hole. which needs great precision, the gauge has to be screwed in but there is no backing nut to secure it and to ensure watertightness.

Ma cuve à fioul est en métal et donc opaque, il m'est impossible de connaître son niveau de remplissage ni de suivre ma consommation. Cette jauge mécanique est donc la solution simple. Elle se visse sur le pas de vis standard des cuves mazout et c'est à peu près tout! 🚨Elle ne va pas vous donner le nombre de litres restant mais bien la hauteur de liquide avec une échelle entre un point bas et un point haut. Le marquage existant de 0 à 200 n'est valable que si vous avez une cuve qui fait exactement 2 mètres de profondeur. 💡 Pour l'étalonnage; Je l'ai déjà placée en parallèle sans la tremper dans le fioul pour voir quelle marque correspondait à ma cuve vide, j'y ai mis un bout de scotche papier avec la valeur limite, et voilà! Il y a aussi la possibilité de faire tourner l'afficheur pour que le 0 corresponde à votre fond de cuve, mais comme certaines personnes ont eu de jauge qui a explosé lors du bidouillage, je préfère ma solution au scotch. J'ai une deuxième cuve connectée, et le fioul est ajouté dans la seconde pour éviter que les remous lors du remplissage détruisent le fil de cette jauge. Mieux vaut prévenir que guérir. 📏Le raccord standard est un mâle 2" (50/60). Le diamètre extérieur du pas de vis est de 54mm, La corde fait 2 mètres de long, donc souvent bien trop, mais il n'est pas nécessaire de la couper. Elle restera simplement enroulée dans votre jauge. La version électronique https://amzn.to/3kjIkQz permet un étalonnage avec lecture du niveau par ultrason. Je regrette que la course soit un peu faible dans mon cas, donc pas très précise. Pour le prix, ça me rend bien service car avec une lampe de poche dans l'ouverture de la cuve, je n'y voit rien... Voilà quelques photos comme références. Comme vous pouvez le voir, c'est le même pas de vis que pour les cuves de 200 litres pour récupération d'eau de pluie! Je recommande ce produit à tous les possesseurs de cuve mazout ou eau. Heb deze meter gekocht om de inhoud van de regenton in één oogopslag te kunnen zien. Heb een conversietabel gemaakt om de inhoud in liters ongeveer te kunnen schatten. In mijn geval moest ik nog wel een losse 2" moer er bij kopen omdat ik een gat door en door in het deksel heb geboord.
