Replacement for Aerogarden pump
I bought this because the power cord on my Aerogarden hydroponics system quit working, the company no longer sold the authentic replacement part, and an aftermarket replacment sparked when plugged in. I was going to chuck the whole system, which would have been a shame, but thought Iโd try this little water pump for circulation and it is working like a charm! Super tiny, but powerful enough to circulate the water and nutrients in the Aerogarden water reservoir.

Aquaneat submersible water pump 50 GPH
This is an excellent product. I will be purchasing these from now on, rather than the powerheads that I have been buying in the past. It arrived on time, and only had a slight chip from part of the plastic. This did not affect its performance or safety value. I highly recommend this pump, and will be buying these rather than powerheads when needed in the future. Thank you.

Works!!!
Got a small decorative table fountain was using a who knows how much GPH pump from big box store, had to add water every day, for it is pumping water too high and not adjustable, so water overflew the edge to the table and down the floor. Luckily we had it outside by the door, so no spill in the house, but pretty annoying. This little pump is exactly what we need, pumps water to less than 1 foot, and adjustable. It is quiet and there is no daily adding of water to the fountain. The moral of the story is, buy the right GPH pump, and make sure it is adjustable.

Iffy, but cheap so Buy more than one.
My first one broke after about a month. So I reordered a few more. My new others one seems to still be working after 2 months, but I honestly can't even tell because I have multiple jets in my new setup. It does seem to work well when it's working. The suction feature also helps and sticks great. The noise seems minimal, I barely notice unless I'm close. Well, the ones that break start making loud noises before dying. I have to turn it off and hit it a few times to get it going. Then it makes loud noises again before going quiet again. Will work for a day then die again. Also it might just randomly get nasty and loud for a bit. I think when it runs when the water gets too low then that is really an issue. It always messes up when the water gets low so you gotta watch or end up buying more. In the future I'll probably have to order a higher quality pump and hope that one holds up better. It might be just because it's so small. Might be hard to make it better, idk. I kind of want it to last a year at least. Not fun undoing the setup to replace.

Great pumps
Came here by way of SerpaDesign on YouTube. Figured I'd try to make a couple of the self watering mini moss walls he did on his channel with these. That seemed like a fairly quick and easy place to get into the hobby. I see why he likes these. They're super quiet, the cords are easy to splice & re-connect as they have ridges on one side, and they're great if all you're doing is building a tiny moss wall in a Target bathroom bin. Having fitting options in a pump this tiny is an added value as well. I liked the results so much that I'm currently ordering two more. at this rate I'll have a couple in every room of my home. LOL.

Don't buy this pump. Get a pump that comes with tubing!
If you purchase a pump, make sure that it comes with a tube that fits its outlet. After looking at many mini-pumps on Amazon, I thought I had ordered one that came with a tube. Unfortunately, this one does not. Standard tubes that you can buy in the USA do not fit the outlet on this pump. They are either too big or too small to fit snugly. I tried every size tube available in a big box home improvement store, 2 local hardware stores & a plumbing supply business. I also asked my plumber, who just happened to be making a service call at my home. No luck. I tried to find an adapter that would make the size of the outlet more adjustable. Even the plumbing experts had no solution for me. I had planned on making a small bubbler fountain for the birds, squirrels, and chipmunks. I bought a lovely basin and another vessel in which to hide the pump. All I needed was a foot or less of tubing to finish my bubbler. Since I could not find tubing that fit this tiny pump, the pump is useless to me. I never even got to use it. I searched for tubing for so long that the return window at Amazon had long expired. Had that not been the case, I would have returned this item. Maybe the pump works, but without tubing that fits it, it is useless for my purposes. My last resort is to try to find tubing at an aquarium or large pet store. I'm pretty sure this is the first one star review that I have written. Buy a pump that comes with tubing! Not this one.

Bubbler
I have a small bird bath. Maybe 12 to 15โ across. This pump works perfectly. The birds love the bubbler. I have put some rocks in my birdbath because the birdies donโt like it deep. Early in the AM the hummers drink from the bubbler.
